The startup event which gives out the traits is based on characters' parents, so if they don't have any they won't get one at startup. There is a yearly maintenance event which should give a trait to those who don't have a blood trait who should have one though. See if they get one after a year or so of time passed. Also, to be sure, is this a new game? The startup event should only fire on a new game. |

Such a cool mod on its own! Is it fair to assume it won’t work with the new MBS? I'm glad the mod is able to enhance your AGOT experience. As for latest MBS, you assume correctly. I've also seen a lot of people are experiencing issues with the new MBS update, so I won't be doing a compatch for it anytime soon until those issues are sorted out. |

I have other mods that can't take mbs right now either so I just turn this on in those saves. Btw your collection of smaller mods is also great for making this game easier. Like maester warrior tutelage. |

Created a version for more bloodlines 3.0.Thought to share but be aware i will not be updating it. FOUND HERE
Thoughts on expansion/improvement of this mod:
So a potential addon to this would be to remove the "a drop of dragons blood" bloodline and its related events,thereby having all dragon taming/hatching bonuses tied to the trait. Add a negative dragon taming/hatching trait that applies to pure blooded Valyrians randomly (Add it to historical Targaryens who never had dragons to prevent them from dragon taming/hatching) to follow more in line with the concept that dragons blood doesnt always denote ability to tame a dragon.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will think about them and then, if I decide to incorporate them, I'll see how much work it would take to implement them. I don't have a lot of time to mod these days; just been making sure they're kept up-to-date for the most part. |

every time I load an older save all of my characters loose their blood purity and trait. is this due to another mod or a bug?

I'm in the process of making a big submod that re-works dragons (egg hatching, taming, etc) and worked on it with Valyrian Blood as a dependency because its more lore accurate (imo) than having it tied to valyrian culture alone.
I wanted to ask for your permission to post it when I'm finished, since it uses a lot of your code in the dragon_events.txt and dragon_decisions.txt files. (and obviously give credits)

(and obviously give credits) If I recall correctly, the code I changed had to to do changing taming/hatching chances from being based on culture to being tied to the traits in this submod. The rest of the code was written by the AGOT mod team. With that being said, credit should be given to them mostly. For my changes, feel free to use them in your submod with credit given as well.
