I downloaded your mod and follow your instructions, but it didn't work for me, I like the gold Lion sigil. I want that to be my sigil, but it didn't work, PS I also have lots of other mods, don't know is it because of that, that it didn't work for me, can u tell me what im doing wron This mod is incompatible with any mod that alters the scripted triggers, CoA file, and Dynamic CoA scripted effects file. If you've problems post the issue with the following information: 1) Does the problem persist with all but my mod deactivated? 2) Which mods besides mine are you using? 3) Have you made any changes to AGOT or my mod (besides the ones that I've provided a walkthrough for)? 4) Which version of the mod are you using? Valyrian or non valyrian, if valyrian I'm sure I've left the lion flag in the gfx folders "flags" and "coat_of_arms" in folders marked as unused, just drag, drop, and overwrite when prompted. Without any of the previous information I cannot help and posting the effects of the mod incompatibilities won't help me figure out the issue without knowing which mod is causing the incompatibility. Ps. Regarding the gold lion flag for valyrian version, I'm sure I've left the lion flag in the gfx folders "flags" and "coat_of_arms" in folders marked as "unused", just drag, drop, and overwrite when prompted.

I tried using your mod only, and it sill didn't work, im using the latest AGOT verson and the latest CK2,
This is what im doing, first I copy and paste the congencompatpatch to the files of ConGen Overhaul 1.7, then I go to the mod folder open AGOT Custom Noble House, then go to the GFX folder, then go to the Flags folder and open it, in the flags folder I see a used folder and c_agot_custom_house tga file, I copy and paste the tga file, after that I rename the copy tga file to AGOTCustomNobleHouse, then I copy the AGOTCustomNobleHouse file to the coat of arms file and replace it with the existing file that was there, after that ,I try to text it out but it didn't work. PS should I already have a save game file from AGOT or should I started a new game first

PS should I already have a save game file from AGOT or should I started a new game first "first I copy and paste the congencompatpatch to the files of ConGen Overhaul 1.7" <------ Big NONO, the compatpatch is meant to be dragged and dropped in AGOT Custom Noble House Folder NOT congen. Also there is a .mod text file that needs to be dropped in the mods directory. Not to mention the mod compatpatch is intended for Congen v1.7.1.The .tga file in Flags folder is a single image only, the one needed for the dynasty sigil to appear for your family is in coat_of_arms and it (after you applied the congencompatpatch) contains 4 images. So in short overwriting it with the single image from "flags" messed it up, Open the "unused" folder in coat_of_arms > drag/drop/copy/replace/overwrite the .tga file in coat_of_arms folder. Maybe open it to make sure it conatains the four images. Re-enable CO if using the patch and I would just start a new game to test and make sure its working, then start a real playthrough. I appreciate the info you've given, a lot of the messages and posts I get for help are " Its not working help plz " with no other info lol.

Drag/Drop in mod directory (where all mods are installed to) overwrite when prompted. All it does is add this line: dependencies = { "A Game of Thrones" "AGOT Congenital Overhaul" } To make it work with CO.

Remedy's custom portraits thread. But post the images you want as your portraits and I'll see what I can do.

So then there's no way to get it, i'm only asking because I love colonize valyria and its not available for 1.7.1 I'm guessing you mean Erbkaiser's Colonizable Valyria. I have good and bad news for you. The bad: It alters scripted triggers. So it is incompatible, If it were updated I would release a patch. But it is not. And i'm not about to make one. The Good: (ish) I can walk you through what you need to do to make it compatible though it will be time consuming and outright tedious. But as an added bonus once we're through you'll know how to update this mod and make it compatible once erbkaiser updates his Valyria mod. So you have a choice. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

Oh, ok and im going to have to take the blue pill in that case because, and I know this is going to sound kind of sad but i usethis mod so that i can simply have whaterver COA i want after jon becomes stark-targaryen, I would though love if u could tell me how to replace the COA for the house because i can replace the dynasty flag rather easily but i get so confused on how to replace the COA for the house itself?

Quote: go into dynamic_coa_effects file and change c_agot_custom_house into d_daemon_blackfyres_host, and you should start flying the Blackfyre sigil. if = { limit = { holder_scope = { dynasty = 11000 } } set_coa = c_agot_custom_house #AGOTCustomNobleHouse } Change above bold underlined to the following: if = { limit = { holder_scope = { dynasty = 11000 } } set_coa = d_daemon_blackfyres_host #AGOTCustomNobleHouse } I helped someone with the same thing before. See above. If you want to change the stark CoA its the same process just a different dynasty number. You can cut out scripted triggers in my mod and it should still give you a dynamic CoA just no house words or any valyrian goodies. Or you can go straight into the main AGOT mod and add your own flag or pick an existing one and add this line into dynamic_coa_effects.txt file pretty much anywhere as long as you add it correctly it should not mess anything up: if = { limit = { holder_scope = { has_character_flag = jon_snow } } set_coa = INSERTNAMEOFYOURFLAGHERE } And there you go! A custom CoA for Lord Snow! Also i'm not sure the jon_snow character flag is in the base mod, I use ALOT of submods.

Can you let me know if I'm doing something wrong?
Unzip folder of AGOTcustomhouse into the mod directory. I then move the congen patch folders into the AGOTcustomhouse folder and .mod file into the general mod directory. Now I use the silver lion as my COA. So I copy the names for the coa_of_arms file "AGOTCustomNobleHouse" and flags file "c_agot_custom_house", copy the silver lion twice, rename them into the respective names for coa_of_arms and flags, and then I move them into those folders.
From there I change the little edits, like house name, sword name, house words.
Everytime I start up the game/mod the coa of arms is a weird black and blue color, without any design. This didn't occur without the congen patch applied. It happens regardless of whether or not congenital overhaul is activated or not. Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

If you did what I think you did, you overwrote the congen patch dynasty gfx, so what is happening is the one CoA is being stretched between the four houses using the .tga file. In short you fucked up. So, reapply the patch specifically the dynasty CoA gfx, then use gimp to open them, you'll see four CoAs overwrite the gold lion/silver dragon by opening the silver lion.tga as layers, then drag the gfx into position directly over the one you're replacing, then go to layers - use the "merge down" command then either overwrite or export as. If using the same name with the export function overwrite when prompted. Be sure to let me know if it worked. Good luck.
