Try now with 0.03 update I looked at your save and changed the save/load system to handle it hopefully. (Should work for all non-English saves if it works for yours now)

At first glance, everything works fine. There is only one small BUT. If you open “Open Character Edition”, the names there will be displayed as symbols (screen below), but this does not affect the saving of the file itself and its performance in the game.Thank you very much for your help. It may save my game in the future =)

I just thought that the names in russian (in my case) should be displayed there, as for example in the screenshot in your 1 post

Well the problem is this is how the text is displayed in the save. CK2 does not store Russian in the save file instead it stores it like this. So to display Russian instead of what the save has in it--- would require a bit more work. However for now you can prune just fine and you will not end up with ? ? ?

In any case, many thanks for the help in solving my problem =) By the way, I have a suggestion: Add a cleaning function to those who died of illness / old age, etc., but did not leave children and were not lord, if possible ...

Whenever I try to prune vanished deaths, the status returns as "Removed '0' vanished death(s)".

Whenever I try to prune vanished deaths, the status returns as "Removed '0' vanished death(s)". That means there aren't any that fit that specific death type. I will be adding more types and it will even auto generate types it thinks it can remove.

I will be adding more types and it will even auto generate types it thinks it can remove. I've added some custom events some annoying characters into the mod. For example: removing and vanishing death to NW barony spouses (for NW members only) and many more. This tends to create a lot of vanished characters in the save files. I ran a save file through CK2Edit but the result was "Removed '0' vanished death(s)".

Yes because the death name will be something else. I have added a way to enter the custom death then you can input the death type and it will remove them.Currently vanished deaths scans for "death_vanished". So download the newest version and press "Prune Custom Deaths" and enter your death type and it will prune them. From 0.04 onwards you can prune specific deaths you wish to.

Update 0.05 released.
Whats New: * Added a new GUI "Death Finder" it can list all the deaths in the save and sort it by type or age in neat ordered lists so you can prune everything you choose to * Added a new GUI "Character Filter" its purpose is to make it easy to filter characters that you would be cool with pruning from the game the window is very incomplete right now and does not feature anything useful (It is best to stick to death finder and regular prune buttons instead) * Added ability for the prune buttons to not prune characters that had children

Hi there..
I pruned the character deaths (all of them) and tried to run the savegame but it won't run. I then, in a fresh save, tried to prune the childless characters deaths only but it didn't work either.
I used v 0.05.
Am I doing something wrong?
