I'm making a little app called CK2Edit bascially it's purpose is to edit save games and prune them such as removing stillborn deaths and eventually removing all non-essential stuff (you decide whats essential) to make a save game thats 1000+ years in run as smooth as a new game. So far it prunes vanished and stillborn deaths and has guis to filter people to prune and filter death types to prune etc and has very basic character editing and a complete bloodline editor. Ooh! sounds like a very handy mod. i'll try it out and will inform you if i'll notice any issues  Thank you for your work. Edit, okay, i've placed the files in the Save-folder and made an uncompressed save named 'save'. i did launch load it the first time but program suddenly closed on 'Parsing' part without any error. now i can't open the program again cause it keeps saying "Windows cannot acces specified device,path or file. you may not have an approriate permission to access the file" pretty weird, i've tried running it as Administrator aswell. |

Just used this on a 80 years playthrough with the New Valyria Freehold.. a sh*t tons of vassals in a mid spec notebook.
The game seems smoother and faster.

Will there be support for other languages in the future?
Since when editing the save file, all possessions and lords are displayed as "? ? ? ? ?".
My game is translated into Russian. Therefore, I would like to be able to edit the save in any language, not just in English.
PS. I am not a connoisseur of English, so I wrote everything using Google Translate ...

It was made for English saves as thats all I use. However if you send me your Russian save I can make it handle other Russian (which should also make it handle any language). |
