Is there an update for the graphical overhaul? It shouldn't ever need updating. Same as with the Cartographic Map mod, unless the map in the base GOT mod is changed in any meaningful way, this mod should be completely compatible with any future update. If you're asking about the water update that I said about a few months ago then yes, there is an updated version that I forgot to post here. Sorry about that! Changes include the toning down of coastlines, which have had a significant saturation decrease in the warmer regions of the map to appear more realistic. This is most apparent in the Summer Islands and Sothoryos. The 'warm water boundary' has been lowered to just above Dorne, so traditionally cold/temperate regions such as the Vale, Iron Islands and Stormlands should no longer look like they have a balmy Mediterranean climate. Most importantly though, all landmasses (south of this warm boundary) should now have a coastline effect. Before, since I made the mod in a pinch, it was limited to mainland Westeros and Essos as well as a few larger islands/island groups such as Ibben, Leng and the Summer Isles. The link in the OP has been updated to the newer version. Obligatory screenies... Hope you all enjoy! Woah.. that's beautiful, is that In Hveans Graphics Overhaul for AGOT? does it significantly affect the performance? if not, where can i get it? didn't see AGOT version of it anywhere. EDIT : Nevermind, i found it! lol thanks for this. PS, the mod looks even more breathtaking in-game, would there be a way to disable the fancy water though? it causes a bit of lag.

Yeah I downloaded the only link for the graphical overhaul mod in the OP and it's the old one.

Yeah I downloaded the only link for the graphical overhaul mod in the OP and it's the old one. Odd, it might be clashing with some other submod or not working correctly for some reason.

This is my personal modification to the vanilla CK2 mod In heaven's Cartographic map (permission has been granted by 'In heaven' for me to post this here), enabling it for the AGOT map. I am not responsible for the vast majority of assets in this mod. When zoomed in, I don't think it looks as 'neat' as the original mod, but I certainly think it has its own charm and still fits the role of a 'parchment map' replacement for the original just as well for those who are looking for something a little different. Currently, it is only available with blue 'water' (it's static which, as In heaven says on his original mod, may actually improve your performance!) but I can try to make one with a more 'parchment' colour like in the original if it is heavily requested. As someone with little to no graphical editing skills, don't expect it to be as 'HD' as the original! Understanding that it may not to be to everyone's taste, I have uploaded a version with and a version without the new font that comes with the original mod. Saying that, if you download the version with the font and decide that you do not like it, instead of having to download it again you can simply go into the mod's 'gfx' folder and delete the 'font' file. To make it more 'usable' in political/cultural map modes, I have increased the saturation and decreased the transparency quite significantly ( example here) from the original mod. In heaven himself has said on the original mod's page that, with default settings, it can be rather frustrating for anything other than terrain mapmode! If you prefer the original or seek to adjust it to your own tastes, check out this very helpful guide here that shows you how to easily edit both settings yourself. This mod should be compatible with all other sub-mods that don't edit the map or terrain. Expect some minor graphical issues if you use any mod that 'fixes' the Valyrian peninsula, for example (I may upload a version for this in the future if there is any interest). Also, unless the map in the main mod is modified in a future version, this should also be compatible with all future AGOT releases. This is pretty much the 'complete version' so don't expect any significant overhauls outside of bugs/error fixes. However I may make minor tweaks in the future if my map-editing skills improve. After all, it's only up from rock-bottom! SCREENIESWith the original mod's font With vanilla font ==== Recommended accompanying sub-mods

Again, sorry everyone for the delay. Thanks to everyone for their praise and support. It means a lot Yeah tried to reinstall it. It's still the old map. Did you manage to solve this issue? I just tested the link too and it appears to be the updated version. which portrait mod are you using for your screenshots? That would be Tubbs' Better Faces. Though, since I last checked, the High Valyrian portraits seen in this screenshot no longer look like that. These used to use Turkish(?) portraits but they were recently replaced with the new Frankish ones. Also, unfortunately, you will need all the portrait DLCs (including Monks & Mystics, Jade Dragon and Rajas of India) for it to work properly. The Graphic Overhaul refuses to work with the font mod, any fixes? Which font mod? The one in the Cartographic Map mod or the separate Revolutionary Font mod? If it's the first, the font is an integral part of the Cartographic Map mod and you will need to copy the files over from that and into the Graphical Overhaul mod in order for it to work. If it's the second, if you run both mods together, Revolutionary Map Font should work with the Graphical Overhaul mod just fine. Aside from perhaps running other sub-mods that also use different fonts, I'm not sure what's causing this issue.

Is it supposed to look like this? I thought the In Heavens mod had fog and darker sea? Yes, the mod in vanilla has a much darker water texture. I was intending to leave it as it was but, when loading it up in the AGOT mod, it had a very ugly 'blocky' texture to it. As such, I had to replace it with a quick-fix alternative. Saying that, I like the fact that it gets lighter as you move closer to the tropical rainforests of the Summer Islands and Sothoryos, and darker as you venture closer to the freezing waste of the Lands of Always Winter. But if most people prefer something closer to the original though, I'd be happy to try and tweak it a little to make the water colours both darker and more uniform. ManicMayo Nope, I've never got it fixed. I'm not sure what the heck is going on here. It looks like the above. nibba and aegonisablackfyre : The 'foggy' effect should be there. As far as I am aware, the only thing about the vanilla mod that doesn't seem to work in this is the political map becoming more transparent as you zoom in. Unless you're running conflicting sub-mods, or are running the vanilla CK2 Graphical Overhaul mod alongside this (which is a big no-no!), I have no idea what is causing this issue for you.
