Sounds like you copied the files from the wrong folder in the DL (The one you probably used is from the folder 'congencompatpatch'). Anything in the file labelled 'congencompatpatch' is only meant to be used with my mod AND Congen Overhaul. Just using my mod on its own like you say you're doing, you only need ONE version from either 'valyversion' or 'novaly' folders. Edit: Hrrrrrrm Darn it. Thanks for pointing that out. First and hopefully only mistake. Never wake up and update your mod first thing (4:30 AM). > I'll post a fix in the next little while for the house words. That localization error wouldn't prevent your decision from popping up. Post your folder let me check it out. Thanks for helping me out! So following your suggestion i de-installed every mod and tried again. Downloaded the new mod update from yesterday (Fast update there btw ) Went to the "My mod update -> valyversion", copyied those two files and put them in my Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod My folder now looks like this: So I skipped the locaslisation editing for now, as i don't think (maybe I'm wrong) that should trigger the deciscion in game and I just wanted to check if this fixed it all. - Booted up the game - Checked both mods are on - Chose Single Player - New Game - Custom Game - Picked a random character - Pressed play - unpaused the game But no descision came up other than the usual pop ups and this one: Any suggestions? Friend, i believe the decision doesn't pop up by itself, you need to click on it in the intrigue menu and then it pops up asking if you want a normal or valyrian bloodline, a second decision appears after that on the intrigue menu to make a Loyalist house, which i believe is like the Karstarks are to the Starks??? But anyway… intrigue menu, colorful option

Now I can get started on the locaslisation editing i also suggest making your own flags, using a little bit of Photoshop editing i made my own (The Red Stallion, of House Williams) and it looked really sweet, you can also edit the Loyalist house's CoA, as for the Localization, remember that what you can edit is what is between the ";"'s in a line, it is kinda hard (more like tedious) but well worth the trouble

Hmm. Interesting. It worked for me. Post your AGOTCNH folder here for me to look at. I want to see what's causing your error. The only changes you should be making are to the 'localization' or the 'gfx' folder, or anything I've provided a walkthrough for. Editing anything else is on you. One errant squiggly bracket WILL cause CTDs or general weirdness. My mod should be compatible with it and the other bloodline mod. I've only glanced at the files in them though. Test it and get back to me. i found the bug the bloodline only activates on the first decision to found the house. not the second one with the coin flip event Yes. I fixed that along with the localization error. I checked it out when you pointed it out the other day.

Yeah, gotta give props to Dragon Age for making at least 1 decent coat of arm lol. The 2 recolors turned out looking pretty decent as well I think. That last one a merge of the Nevarran and Starkhaven coats together turned out pretty good.

i have the same issue i took off all the sub mods and it still wont work. the mods i use -congen -more artifacts if using ConGen Overhaul copy all files in the folder labelled " congen compat patch " into the mod folder and overwrite when prompted. CO adds dynasties and alters scripted triggers in the game making it incompatible with this mod, though if you apply the patch you'll have both your dynasty and the ones from that mod. Getting the wrong flag could be many things, the most common I've encountered are: 1) files overwriting the CoA file in this mod or 2) improperly made custom .tga files. The latter is easily remedied by simply copying one of the premade ones in this mod opening it with gimp, opening your custom one with gimp as layers, then overwriting it either by saving or exporting. i followed your steps the flag works the bloodline works just my personal coa shows up like a blackish blue ill just link you my file. drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1sf95Cm4AP4q-Jp7mW4THSI-b-sRyiWOc

The file says I need permission to access it. How about you post what CoA you want, I'll repost it so you can drag, and drop it into your mod folder? You also forgot to say which mods you're using. Just so I can figure out what your issue is.

So I looked over your folder. Your custom tga needs to be merged with the tga labeled "AGOTCustomNobleHouse.tga" by opening the latter. Then opening yours as layers then dragging it over the gold lion sigil. I use the merge down layers command then overwrite. Just dropping it into the coat_of_arms gfx folder won't change it. Also I noticed you didn't have any of the congencompat patch files present in the folder you provided. Make sure you drag and drop into the mod directory, (the general mod folder where ALL your mods are located) then overwrite when prompted. That's most likely why your flag is showing but not your CoA. Also you didn't change any of your localization. I'm assuming you're just waiting to get your flags working. EDIT: Make sure the .mod file in the congencompatpatch folder in the DL is placed in the mod directory. (Where ALL your mods are) It ensures my mod is loaded after Congen. Which makes changes to the coat_of_arms.txt file. You can double check it's working by opening it and it should display the three following lines: name = "AGOT Custom Noble House" path = "mod/AGOT Custom Noble House" dependencies = { "A Game of Thrones" "AGOT Congenital Overhaul" } <----------- This part is VERY important. My mod gets overwritten without this line.

Hi love the mod i have a question the bloodline does not activate for me just wondering if i have to change the (yourhouse) name in the files to the name of the my house also just wondering if your mod is compatible with the More bloodlines sub mod by Rufff1. Hmm. Interesting. It worked for me. Post your AGOTCNH folder here for me to look at. I want to see what's causing your error. Test it and get back to me. More Bloodlines by ruff1 is incompatible with my mod. It changes/alters the coat_of_arms.txt file. Just in case anyone is wondering.
