Sorry, I've been busy. I've been distracted with work. Thank you for all your help as always. I have AGot Bloodlines Congenital Overhaul AGOT Nicknames +6 Join All the Wars More artifacts Wolflings for AGOT Personal Castle. Before when I testing, it was still doing it when I deactivated all my mods, but I may have missed one. Now that I have a bit of time, I'm thinking it would have to be Nicknames+ or personal castle conflicting with it. I'm not an expert though. I looked over the mods you listed. I honestly haven't a clue what's messed with your mod folder. You sure that's the entirety of your mod folder? It doesn't make sense that it worked before you stopped playing for you to come back without changing anything for it to not work. The only thing I can think of is you've altered or removed the localization files somehow. I haven't played ck2 in about a month until yesterday and everything is fine for me. (I have dozens of mods active too by the way)

Hey, just wondering. How do I go about adding a starting amount of ducats? I play on Ironman, since I tend to cheat when I don't, and cheating kinda ruins it for me. Silly, I know.
Have tried to just insert a few variations (In bold):

Only started playing the 1.8 update yesterday and I think Lancel is done updating CO so it'll be quick. Most likely going to add a bloodline for the custom house. Still intend to add a subservient/loyal house as well.

Creating a bloodline is pretty easy. I updated this for personal use last night. Compatibility should be even easier as you won't need to edit the dragon event anymore.

Regarding my latest update:
I haven't extensively tested it with Lancel's CO. So if there are any issues let me know and I'll check it out. Also I made the bloodline added by this mod basic for balance reasons. So if you'd like to add some special modifiers to it, send me a message or post here, and I'll try to help you out there as well.

Hi! First time player here. Not really good at coding but have edited some game files before. So i Followed your instructions and got the option to select the mod when starting up but somehow can't find the way to start up my own house. I am not using any other mod than the agot mod; not even the ConGen Overhaul you do mention.
So here's what I did; 1. Install the agot mod 2. downloaded your modd 3. copied the two valyversion files (AGOT Custom Noble House file and .mod) and into my Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod 4. followed your instructions on localisation editing Only thing i did differently was with the following: "go to the folder called localization and open the file named 00_house_words and find the line that has the following: HouseWords_YourHouse" For me there was no "Housewords_YourHouse" in the file so i ended up adding it, maybe that is a problem?
Anybody any idea what i'm doing wrong here? would love to check this out

Anything in the file labelled 'congencompatpatch' is only meant to be used with my mod AND Congen Overhaul. Just using my mod on its own like you say you're doing, you only need ONE version from either 'valyversion' or 'novaly' folders. Edit: Hrrrrrrm Darn it. Thanks for pointing that out. First and hopefully only mistake. Never wake up and update your mod first thing (4:30 AM). > I'll post a fix in the next little while for the house words. So following your suggestion i de-installed every mod and tried again. Downloaded the new mod update from yesterday (Fast update there btw ) Went to the "My mod update -> valyversion", copyied those two files and put them in my Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod My folder now looks like this: So I skipped the locaslisation editing for now, as i don't think (maybe I'm wrong) that should trigger the deciscion in game and I just wanted to check if this fixed it all. - Booted up the game - Checked both mods are on - Chose Single Player - New Game - Custom Game - Picked a random character - Pressed play - unpaused the game But no descision came up other than the usual pop ups and this one: Any suggestions?
