So I have a question. I was able to teach my kids about dragons before like in another gameplay but now I can’t? Why? ibb.co/0GjLX3PThere’s a picture of my game^ It’ll work for some. Like my youngest daughter I was able to teach but all the other ones, nope.

I think the bonded with dragon modifier should also prevent characters from hatching dragon eggs. In my current game there's a guy that hatched an egg, but he has the modifier so he can't tame it, and since the dragon is set as his friend no one else can tame it either. There's also an event where an untamed (but not wild) dragon will burn a province, so his province keeps getting burned with no way to prevent it.

I made it so that characters with that modifier can no longer tame dragons or hatch eggs. I also made a fix for your situation, let the game play for a year or so and he should lose the modifier

Thanks for the quick fix. Just one more thing though, the untangle event also needs NOT = { trait = dragon_rider } in the trigger.

Hello, I've been trying to download this mod for a while, but it was broken till recently, thanks for fixing it. My question/problem is that I did the download and i applied it to a saved game, the situation escalated when I enter the save game and some traits changed, for example, the widow trait disappeared and a combo of traits apeard, like reincarnated by the person itself, a random trait that I never saw and then Baptized by the Pope (?!) Do you think this happened because I applied it to an already saved game? If I start a new game would it be okay/fixed? This mod doesn't add any traits so it should be save-game compatible. What other mods are you running?

So I was wondering. When an egg hatches and all that why doesn’t it automatically add the dragon rider trait? Like I’ve had characters where the egg hatches and the person is a fully grown adult but still not dragon rider trait but have a drag and dragon whip…

You have to wait until the dragon is bigger (10 years old? I forgot) to then tame the dragon and ride it. That's not an effect of this mod, it's the game rules

I got the mod to show up and can check/uncheck the box (along with the mail game of thrones mod) when I open the client.
Unfortunately, when I start a Targaryen run, I find no indication the sub mod is active (no change to realm laws menu, no decisions or titles, etc)

Quick question, for the dragon trainer laws when it says “blood” does it mean like house Targaryen? Like how in the laws you can put free, appointed, and blood. Does blood mean JUST Targaryens or?

Sorry, but I once again have a question. If one is married to someone of your family does that mean they can tame a dragon? I’m playing in dance of the dragon era and a wife of Joffrey Velaryon (I’m a targ) claimed a dragon and I have law set to blood. So I’m just curious.

The Blood Only and Appointed Laws weren't fully fleshed out before. I just updated it today, so they should work as intended now. Only characters of the top liege's dynasty should be able to tame dragons now with the Blood Only law, and only characters with the "Dragon Tamer" minor title should be able to tame dragons when set to Appointed.
