Hello all I will be starting off in the Greyjoy Rebellion, as King Robert of the Iron Throne. I use More Bloodlines, that is all, I don't console command, I like this start because its this weird period of post Robert's rebellion, but Joffrey is just a baby still no Myrcella or Tommen yet, but Edric is born, and overall its just one of my favorite starts, I have a chapters section below but it'll get filled in as I go so,,,I am playing King Robert I in 8289 the Greyjoy Rebellion start Married to Queen Cersei with one "true born" son, Prince Joffrey
Prologue -
"Houses Lannister, Stark, Tully, Arryn, Baratheon, and Tyrell your grace" read Grand Maester Pycelle. Robert had no distaste for Pycelle but by the gods did he represent everything he hated about being King, Pycelle slowly oozed words out of his mouth and he had to sit there and listen because he was King this was the prize he won.
"Note that you did not mention Dorne Pycelle." Robert laughed "We'll win the war without the damned Dornish anyways, probably still sulking in Sunspear over the deaths of their damned dragon spawn" Roberts anger began to rise at mention of the Targaryens.
"If Balon Greyjoy thinks to disrupt Baratheon rule of the Seven Kingdoms, he had bloody well think again" Robert looked around at his small council, mostly lesser lords from the Crownlands held temporary positions whilst higher Lords had gone out to rally their banners for the crown. "I want you to send a raven to Dragonstone Pycelle, command my brother to Kingslanding inform him we will be setting sail with the main contingent of our army, whilst Sandor Clegane commands the smaller force to patrol our coasts from Ironborn attacks, and send a raven to Casterly Rock I want the imp here, he's good with coin we need some people of talent in the capital while we fight this war, I'm rather looking forward to seeing Cersei's face when she learns he's being given a seat on the council."
Pycelle bowed his head " As-As you command your grace, although I might have heard it said that the uhm the Lord Tyrion's disposition may not take well with the uhm daily running of affairs and what not as you well know your grace it takes a great deal t-"
"Enough of this Pycelle send the damn ravens" Robert now looking rather annoyed was fixated and daydreaming of the battles he was going to fight in the coming year.

Chapter 1 Ours is the FuryRobert could not have been happier to go off to war, and Cersei could not have been happier to see him leave, it brought some pleasure to the King while he was away to invite his brother by law Lord Tyrion to serve as Master of Coin knowing the message it would send to Cersei.

However this was no time for court politics, and subtleties of petty passive aggressive jokes, while it pleased his grace to get under the Queens skin the truth of the matter was Lord Tyrion was skilled at the running of things, and he needed good men in the capital while everyone was away fighting. The most obvious threat the Greyjoys posed was while the Royal armies, and Lords Paramounts were fighting on the isles the Ironborn seemed intent on raiding as many main land castles as possible, most notably they had their eyes set high they wanted to sack Kings Landing in one fell swoop.

Robert had decided to lead the main royal army, with his brother Stannis, and Lord Commander Barristan Selmy in conjunction with Lord Eddard to besiege Pyke, while the other Lords Paramount were given important castles and strategic points along the isles to take, while the Tyrells would receive no glory from taking castles in the war perhaps subtle payback for siding against the King in his rebellion that put him on the throne, the Tyrells would earn their keep and place by linking with the relatively small Royal army left behind lead by Sandor Clegane, at Cersei's request and Lord Tywins recommendation to defend the city from any would be Ironborn attackers.

The long and relatively unchallenged journey to Pyke left Robert drunk most days on ship, but he was happy to see his friend Eddard Stark again and happy to hit someone in battle with his hammer. "Your grace, we have arrived at Pyke" Ser Barristan wanted to inform the King as soon as possible in hopes he may stop drinking and be somewhat sober for the men during the siege.
"When we left Kings Landing Barristan, did you think Pyke would be this damn ugly" Ser Barristan laughed, "No your grace, I did not know what to expect though one could expect the Ironborn and the Greyjoys with their lack of poise, and harsh ways to come from a place such as this"
Robert rubbed his swollen eyes and stood "We will show these Greyjoys the wrath and fury of House Baratheon! Has Lord Starks armies arrived do we know of them yet, what news?"
Barristan noting how quickly Robert came out of his drunken stooper and switched back to his role as King and battlefield commander replied, "I have been informed that they were here your grace, as well as half the Tyrell army it appears Lord Mace has divided his forces against your royal instructions, I am told half the Tyrell army has made it to Kings Landing whilst the other half is here with us on Pyke."
"The Tyrells always find a way to half way follow through it seems their rosey nature" Robert said laughing to himself not noting the danger Kings Landing was very well in at this moment.
"Also your grace before we disembark there has been a raven from Kingslanding, it has the Queens seal." Ser Barristan handed King Robert the message and left while the King changed.

Chapter 2 Forever May You Reign "You look beautiful as ever big sister" Tyrion said approaching the small council chambers, while Robert was gone and though technically made regent should anything happen to him, Cersei also took it upon herself to sit as regent in Kings Landing just like Cersei Tyrion thought to himself entering his surroundings where he was the odd man out - after all he may be there on special appointment of the king but every man in the room owed something to the Queen and they all knew she hated him, he had no friends here. Cersei looked at her brother as if she was particularly proud herself, "I'm sorry" she said laughing "I forgot to inform you little brother, the councils meeting was held earlier then normal, you just missed it" as she stood to leave all present rose to follow her out save for Tyrion who had just arrived and stood in rather bewilderment - "And what Cersei did I miss in this meeting?" Tyrion spoke in a rather assertive tone, as if he did not appreciate being openly castrated from the Council and on his first day no less."Do try to be on time tomorrow little brother" Cersei said sneering and smiling at the same time as only highborn girls know how to do at someone they loathe while maintaining the guise of civility.Pycelle being the slowest of Cersei's sycophants to follow her out was stopped by Lord Tyrion - "I am the Kings Master of Coin, I have a right to know what went on at the Small Council, what did I miss Pycelle" Pycelle wasn't interested in talking the to this stain on Lord Tywins name but also felt rather cornered so he simply told him the truth, being as he'll find out soon enough elsewhere anyways "Her Grace is with child""How remarkable my sister is able to fall pregnant whilst her husband is away at the siege of Pyke" Tyrion said mockingly and rather loudly to draw the attention of would be listeners. Pycelle looked absolutely aghast "Ttthat -THAT is most distasteful my lord most distasteful indeed, obviously the King and her grace saw each other before he left" Pycelle took one last disgusted look at Tyrion before taking his leave of the chambers. Back at Pyke, news of Roberts raven from Kings Landing was a surge of excitement amongst the men, pride in their King, left the Baratheon banners wanting to take the fight to Pyke, and with Roberts blood itching for a fight himself he was all to ready to order the assault, which was calculated to succeed by the men advising him, regardless Robert wanted to hit something. In Kings Landing, the banners were ready for a fight, although it was rather up in the air on who would actually win that fight for the simple matter of the forces were about evenly matched, if not slightly more tilted in favor of the Greyjoys, and this worried Lord Tyrion, who did not particularly like the idea of being in the Capital when Lannister heads were in danger.
"Brother!" Tyrion said seeing Jaime pass him by "We need your military mind on the defense of the city, and I was wondering-"
Jaime cut him off, "Not now Tyrion"
Tyrion face grimaced as he said "Not now? THE CITY is about to potentially undergo a siege, the entirety of the seven kingdoms is on the Iron Islands and you don't want to talk about our defense?"
"Fuck the city" said Jaime, "Cersei is in labor, the Red Keep will hold." Jaime then continued walking past his brother on his way to be by Cersei's side.

Well fuck me Tyrion thought to himself, "I guess its up to me then to see that our defense hold should the fighting outside turn south" Tyrion yelled back at Jaime who continued to not care

Chapter 3 The Stags ResolveThe Battle, Kings Landing had seen fighting in recent history, most recently when it was sacked during Roberts Rebellion, now however it was in danger of being sacked again should the Army leads by Ser Sandor Clegane fail outside its walls, the people of the city were optimistic however, they loved their King, they did not particularly care for the Queens family but they felt at ease on being on the side of the Lannisters this time around as opposed to against them.
"I was expecting an actual fight" barked Sandor Clegane. "These Ironborn aren't even fighting! They don't even have a commander for all their flanks, this is who the imp was so worried about?"
Ser Ilyn, just stared blankly at Sandor.
"Right you can't talk, sorry." Sandor said backing away rather unamused at his current company.

It was not long post battle of the Dragon Gate that Robert Baratheon, took the Driftwood Crown right off Balon Greyjoys head, pressing peace terms that left the Greyjoys in Embarrassment.
"Rise, Lord Balon" Robert said rather jovially. "You and your kin may bend the knee, but I am leaving my father in law Lord Tywin of House Lannister in charge of the Iron Islands. From this day on House Greyjoy is a vassal house to House Lannister along with the rest of the Iron Islands you have forfeit your right to govern yourselves."
News shocked the court that Tywin Lannister would now also hold dominion over the Iron Islanders, but who better than the man who taught the Reynes their place then to take the reigns literally of the Iron Islands. It however did not shock Cersei, Cersei knew her father was like her, he always got what he wanted sooner or later, and currently Cersei wanted Tyrion gone.
Tyrion approached his sister who was sitting elegantly in a Lannister red gown embroidered with the sigil of her house to remind everyone of her familys station no doubt. "Sister.." he began
Cersei had heard rumors of Tyrion meddling in her affairs, talk of Tyrion looking to openly find her and Jaime guilty of treason, to what end she did not know and she did not care she knew her little brother was always a threat she has always known that. "Little brother" she said sneering
"I see you're pregnant again, congratulations is it the Kings?" Tyrion said jokingly though he knew he was prodding Cersei too far even in that moment
"You've always been vulgar" Cersei said standing up to leave "I have a task for you little brother, there is a man an alchemist in the City I need you to visit on behalf of House Lannister, as my attaché if you will"
Tyrion scrunched up his face not trusting his sister needed a favor from him "What ever for big sister?" he asked
Cersei smiled "Do not worry" she said pausing to take a breath before her next words "They will know what you're there for"

The fire that would rage for the next year leveled many homes, killed the Queens brother, and yet the royal family and the prominent points in Kings Landing were unharmed. "A few less peasants" Cersei had remarked at Robert who had sent her and the children to Casterly Rock for their safety until the fire was contained.

********
Cersei of House Lannister Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, now stood as sole heir to Casterly Rock, and shortly after the wildfire was contained she inherited it, Lord Tywin the true power behind the throne had died, leaving her the Westerlands and all of its titles, Lord Kevan however due to agnatic law in the Iron Islands took the newly acquired titles there.

Chapter 4 The End of an Era
With the death of Lord Tywin, no one expected that soon after the death of another prominent lord in the realm would leave the King shaken and heartbroken. Lord Jon Arryn had been like a father to the king, and Lord Eddard, for now the inheritance of the vale fell to a female of house Waynwood a descendant of an older branch of Arryn, but her heir is a young Harrold Arryn and should she remain childless the Vale will return to House Arryn, which to Robert was better anyways, he had no dislike for this new lady of the vale but he believed that the Vale should go to House Arryn if not to honor his late friend and surrogate father.
“Summon Lord Stark to the capital” Robert spoke the order to Pycelle still half grieving
Grand Maester Pycelle had hoped Robert might name Lord Tywins brother Lord Kevan who now rule the Iron Islands as the new hand but the king was insistent that Eddard Stark come take up the position of Hand of the King. “Of course your grace, I shall send a raven at once, and as to the other matter your grace? Would you like mention of that as well?”
Robert waved his hand dismissing the old man “Yes, yes get on with it, instruct Lord Eddard to send his daughter Sansa to Casterly Rock, she’ll make a fine ward for Cersei with our daughter Joanna as a playmate and one day her and Joffrey will be betrothed.”

***** Lord Eddard Stark did as his King command, though arriving in the Capital with his modest train of entourage and guards he could tell he was in uncharted territory, he had sent a contingent of household guards and Sansa's entourage was en route to Casterly Rock where she would be warded with the Queen, he knew Robert desired a betrothal but dare not ask that yet he would want to make a big spectacle of the betrothal. Lord Eddard shuttered at the idea of a spectacle over such non sense.
“Lord Stark!” Yelled Ser Barristan Selmy Lord Commander of Roberts Kingsguard, “It’s good to see you Lord Stark, I know the King will be glad to see a friendly face after Lord Arryns departure from this world.
Ned had just barely arrived through the city gates and had not expected to see the old knight this far out “I was not expecting a welcome escort from the Kingsguard Ser Barristan, how is Robert?”
“Not well I’m afraid, his grace wanted me to personally see you to the Red Keep my Lord, but I do fear he is drinking much at this early hour to deal with Lord Arryns passing” Barristan looking for Neds reaction to this eyed his facial expression
“I’ll talk with him” was all Ned replied
****** Sansa arrived at the gates of Casterly Rock the Lions Mouth, Lion banners swaying in the wind, she was all to excited to be the Lannister’s ward, and lady of the queen, and if her mother was right one day betrothed the Queens son Prince Joffrey, though he’s in Kings Landing with his father she told herself even still she had hoped he might be staying at Casterly Rock
Cersei was sitting resplendent with some of her advisors around when Sansa arrived, she didn’t want the girl here but she felt sorry for her being so far from home she almost reminded her of herself, or perhaps it was the fact Cersei was almost due and if the Maesters were correct she was carrying twins, so perhaps it was just her maternal instinct was on much to high at the moment
Lady Sansa of House Stark, your grace came the voice of the Lannister valet charged with announcing arrivals at court.
Sansa noted the fact that Casterly Rock was in fact like a separate court, Cersei Lannister held court in the Westerlands as Queen Consort of the Iron Throne, but also as Lady of Casterly Rock in her own right. “It is a pleasure to be here your grace” Sansa said curtsying.
“My dear aren’t you beautiful” Cersei said whilst mustering all the pleasantries she could “It is an honor to have you here Sansa I do hope to get acquainted with you later but if you’ll excuse me my condition leaves me quite tired” Cersei rose from her position “I do trust that you’ll find yourself settled in quite nicely, and I hope for you to join the Princess Joanna and I for dinner in my apartments”
And with that Sansa Stark stood alone in the gallery, at first she felt all eyes on her but as she watched the Queen leave the maester of Casterly Rock came rushing in with such an urgency she had never seen before
“News from Kings Lansing your grace, it’s the King” was all Sansa could make out from her distance

So, basically, get ready for Mace Tyrell or some shit to start a massive pro-Viserys faction, which AI Ned and AI Jon Arryn will proceed to join (only after AI Ned becomes a homosexual lunatic Drowned Gods follower). At least, that's the kinda shit that's happened when I'd do something like this. Joff has shit stats.

Chapter 5 :Lannister Power Play

Joffrey Baratheon at the age of 9 assumed the Iron Throne, his mother serving on the small council as Master of Whispers was in the final months of her pregnancy where she would soon have the baby or if the Maesters were correct babies in the capital, assured that her son would have no problems doing so, Lannister men in the capital were celebrating a new King, but they were ready to defend the new rule at any given moment should problems arise.
"Your grace" came the voice of Kevan Lannister, brother to the late Lord Tywin grandfather to the King -Kevin served as Master of Laws, and now he was assuming the regency for the young boy, he would not fail Tywin in this regard his last duty to his brother upheld by guiding his young nephew his brothers grandson during this hard and potential dangerous time for a boy Kings position was oft in danger of would be usurpers. "We have seen to the funeral arrangements of your father your grace, every lord in Westeros will be in attendance to pay their respects, and to swear new found fealties to you, it will be difficult, you will be expected to show your strength in this hour your grace."
Joffrey a boy of 9 simply nodded his head only half understanding what his great uncle was saying.
"I have further matters to discuss with your grace when the funeral is done, if you permit I find it important enough to call a meeting of the Small Council, though you are young this is a matter which will pertain to you directly, you will sit this small council your grace, I will speak for you but it is important you learn what it is to rule, watch and observe, do you understand." "I understand Uncle" said the boy king inquisitively "Good, and when all is through I will have you resume your training with Lord Jaime, he has been a good influence on you your skills with swordsmanship have improved, would you like that?" Joffrey pondered the question for a moment and finally agreed. ***** The funeral of King Robert I of House Baratheon was a grand affair, every noble came to pay their respects just as Lord Kevan had said, Joffrey watched them and he observed that even at the death of his father a Baratheon, the deference every lord showed to House Lannister, as if it was House Lannisters loss. Joffrey also observed how this seemed to annoy his Uncle Renly who was married to Nymeria Sand, and through rumors and court gossip he heard his mother speak on had been poisoned by the Dornish to hate them. Joffrey recalled how his mother once said that Dorne blamed them for every tragedy that had ever befallen them, and now they have his Uncle Renly to champion their pathetic grievances.

The Small Council convened just as Lord Kevan had demanded, and Lord Stark was Hand of the King under King Robert he had little love of the Lannisters but he would uphold the Kings Peace and rule for Roberts memory, so if that meant cowing down to Lannister men... and women then that is what he would do. "Lord Stark before we begin, I want to thank you for you leal and loyal service to the King" began Kevan Lannister "What is this Lord Regent?" Stark questioned sensing the tone of his voice and mood of this meeting "As I said" Kevan continued "We thank you for your leal service which will no longer be needed"
Joffrey sat watching this exchange while also observing House Lannister once again demonstrate their power "His grace, and I would like to use this moment to announce as well the official betrothal of the Princess Joanna to your son Lord Stark the young Robb" The other councilors clapped in approval. Cersei sat back unamused she was not consulted, but did not openly question her Uncle. "Princess Joanna?" Ned said. "Robert intended to my daughter Lady Sansa to marry the King, why announce his younger sisters betrothal but not his?" Lord Kevan Lannister paused for a moment, "His grace would be honored to marry your daughter my lord, if he was not already promised to another" " Another?" came Lord Starks reaction stunned his daughter was overlooked by the Lannisters Cersei sat up in her seat wanting to demand of her Uncle what was going on, she cared not that Stark was outplayed but she was not informed of the play and she was not happy. "We will announce his graces betrothal to the Lady Margaery of House Tyrell, daughter of the new Hand of the King" Kevan Lannister stated to a shocked room, which left Lord Stark leaving attendance *********
Kevan Lannister sat in his solar, going over the affairs of the Thrones coffers, he had on King Joffrey's behalf just taken a loan out from the Iron Bank which would need to be repaid in 5 years time, when his nice walked in.
"What are you doing?" Cersei said staring her Uncle down
"Hello Cersei, take a seat" Keven replied
Cersei was fuming "No I want to know what are you doing? You're going to betroth my son and daughter and not tell me? And what of Sansa I took her in as a ward Robert was to have her wed Joff, now we are to watch a Tyrell girl wed Joffrey? Why are you giving such honor to House Tyrell they don't deserve anything-"
Before she could continue Kevin cut her off "Because Cersei we need the Tyrells on our side."
"We have a large army, Joffrey is King there is no sides, any other side is treason" Cersei scoffed arrogantly
Kevin in a tone which only reminded Cersei of her father Tywin replied "Have you ever heard of the Blackfyre rebellions? Dance of Dragons? Renly Baratheon hates us, the Dornish are using him to openly mock us at court, Stannis hates us, what is to say one day the Dornish don't talk Renly into taking up Stannis's claim? What if Baratheon fought Baratheon who would House Stark side with? I'll tell you who - they would side with us, they would always side with Robert's seed, they will never go against Joffrey. The Tyrells are a question mark, they hold the key to food, food we would need for our armies, they also have a large army in distance of the capital, if they sided with Renly we are looking at a very real war one that I would be confident in winning, but I would not take that chance, Tywin would not want me to take that chance so this betrothal and appointment that you so frown on Cersei, may very well save your sons life and throne one day, we cannot overlook House Tyrell on this issue. The betrothal between Sansa and Joffrey was never formally announced, this way the Starks still get a royal match, and the Tyrell ambition to put one of their own on the throne is sated."
Cersei stared for a moment in shock her uncle was finally finding his voice after all these years. "I should have been consulted" was all she could muster to say.
"You are my beloved niece, Lady of Casterly Rock, the King's Mother, if I find it in the future to consult you on such matters I will." Kevin looked his niece over one last time and said "Now if you'll excuse me I have work to do" and waved her away.
********* Cersei left her Uncles solar angry, when she felt what she had felt only twice before, she was to give birth. She turned to a guard "Get my brother!" she yelled The Lannister guard bowed "At once your grace" Twins Cersei thought to herself as she remembered what the Maesters had said.

Lol well my Joffrey idk if its part of 1.9 but he starts out with no stats in Greyjoys rebellion idk at what point he gets cruel etc but he's looking like when I play Tommen what I hope Tommen turns out to be - as for Mace, I have a HUGE love of Cersei and Margaery so by proxy the Lannisters/Tyrells so I normally do things to keep them in the loop in my play throughs and since Robert was dead and I'm looking at a regency it felt very Lannister like to overlook House Stark and place value on a Tyrell match so that's what I did, which is cool because I always prefer to marry Margaery anyways (sorry Sansa)

Golden-haired twins. And born after Robert's death. Tommen and Myrcella? Haha yeah basically, those twins are in Casterly Rock too, I didn't get to name them/can't betroth them etc which I could console I guess but I don't normally use the console but I'm kind of cool with that I think the twins being distant/not close with Joffrey and Joanna may be interesting story wise

I mean Joffrey is King..I feel like I wouldn't be a true Lannister if I went around forgiving slights 😜 *Also I should have something up today or tomorrow?? I'm at this weird point where I can't play anymore until I catch up writing something but also I'm busy but the point where I stopped might be the main focus of this AAR which is cool because I didn't really know where I was going with this besides I wanted a Pro Baratheon / Lannister view point AAR

Chapter 6
Royal Wedding Joffrey & Margaery Joffrey of the Houses Baratheon and Lannister King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and First Men would wed the Lady Margaery of House Tyrell, she was beautiful and intelligent and thought to be able to bear sons, her family was wealthy and powerful, but most importantly with this marriage they were now bound to the crown for the crown now represented their interests as well.
Margaery of House Tyrell would soon wed the King, she would sit higher than all the rest as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, just as her grandmother had always promised her before her untimely passing. The small folk had roared with excitement when the Lady Margaery’s litter arrived in the capital, for House Tyrell had been passing out bread and golden coins with Tyrell roses on them to the poor for weeks ahead of their arrival.
She had been given rooms in the Red Keep, and had met King Joffrey only once when he had welcomed her to court, she had grinned that day so wide while the court applauded her arrival that it was said the face of the Dowager Queen turned sour. The wedding would be the most extravagant affair, banners of House Baratheon, Lannister, and now Tyrell could be seen almost every where, the small folk were in a happy mood, and everyone seemed to be content with this match… except for the Starks and perhaps her new mother by law but Margaery got the impression the Dowager Queen was rarely happy.
Margaery noted how happy her father looked to be Hand of the King, how proud her brothers were to be regarded so highly, she may not be Queen yet but tomorrow she would be, and her family was now the most powerful family in the realm despite what the Lannisters might have everyone believe. It was on the day of her wedding on the way to the Great Sept of Baelor, in a gown embroidered with the Golden Rose of her house that Margaery realized her time as Queen would be made easier if she endeavored to have the King in her corner. For what better way to ensure her family takes precedence above all others than to control the King, to be Queen is one thing, Cersei was Queen and her influence over the King they say was so little that the late King Robert was said to have often done the opposite of what his wife wanted to simply spite her, that was not something Margaery wanted at all. As they said their vows in front of the Sept, a room full of the most important lords and ladies, Margaery was determined to make sure the King was truly in every sense of the word hers. ******* Joffrey looked absolutely enthralled by his new Queen much to his mothers dissatisfaction. He recalled how his mother wanted to reprimand the Lady Margaery and her family for exciting the common people with bread and coin, she had said "They are causing the small folk to be excited when they need not be" was her official complaint which he noted made his uncle Jaime laugh so loud it angered her more for he had said "Cersei the small folk are celebrating the marriage of your son, and for a bride he could do much worse, and her family is doing more than their fair share to help plan the wedding". Now here he was sitting with his beautiful bride beside him, at his wedding feast and she turned to him. "Isn't this lovely your grace?" Margaery's wide brown eyes stared back at him inquisitively Joffrey was nervous and fumbled for words to come to him so all he said was "Yes, lovely my Queen" to which seemed to delight his new wife. "Everyone here has come to celebrate us my love, every fox from the south, and every bear from the north our marriage must truly be blessed" she said with a smile that would make the gods smile for no one with such beauty and grace had ever smiled at him like that, at least not that he could remember anyways.

Chapter 7Three OmensQueen Margaery sat combing her hair excited to tell her husband the King the good news, it had been perhaps a month since the loss of Lord Commander Barristan, who was replaced by the kings own uncle Ser Jaime Lannister as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, and as to the open position on the Kingsguard a relative of Selyse Florent Ser Jon Flowers was selected, and the court was still mourning the loss of the old loyal knight.
"Husband" Margaery said grinning
"Wife" Joffrey said returning the grin and not knowing what to expect next.
"It would seem, your grace-" Margaery paused to grin again "That perhaps the time has come to inform the Queen mother, that she is to be a Queen Grandmother."
"You're with child!" Joffrey said with excitement
Margaery still combing her hair, in a dress that honored the colors of her house said "Yes, we should have them ring the bells all morning and day... and perhaps all week"
Margaery knew the importance of producing a royal heir, and she was excited to tell her father the Lord Hand who would no doubt play up the pregnancy on the council to seek more honors for House Tyrell from Lord Regent Kevan Lannister, who she had noticed was growing annoyed with her father as of late.

****
It had not been sparsely a week since news of the Queens pregnancy that the entirety of the Seven Kingdoms would be shaken to its foundations, ravens were flying abound, the Small council was in an uproar, and Margaery Tyrell had been naive or at least narcissistic enough to believe they were still celebrating her good news when she walked into a session of the small council.
"Your Grace" Lord Kevan said rising to stand with the rest of the room at her entrance
Margaery went to stand by her husband who was not pleased, and the Dowager Queen herself looked livid. "What is the news my lord"
Margaerys father Lord Mace turned to answer, "My dear we have reports of rebellion, House Tyrell will stomp this out I assure you all however and-"
Cersei was the one to cut Mace off "Do not be silly Lord Tyrell, this is not any rebellion" she turned to gaze at Margaery "If you wish to rule my dear this is what ruling is, tell her Joff"
Joffrey now 15 but still under the thumb of his mother and regent looked at his wife, "It seems we have a pretender on our hands my dear, some boy of Essos claims to be the fallen Prince Aegon he dares call ME as usurper"
"Its treason!" bellowed Lord Mace
"It is stupidity" said Kevan Lannister "I was there all those years ago, when Lord Tywin presented the bodies of the young Aegon, and Rhaenys, blood soaked and beaten, this boy is a pretender nothing more"
Varys master of whispers who had been sitting silently up until that point rose to speak "Perhaps so my lord regent... but he does have the support of the Golden Company, a feat that has not been done in many years I hear they have 10,000 men already gathered on our shores? And if more lords join them..."
Cersei insulted at the idea anyone would join a pretender against her son "If more lords join them we will burn their cities to the ground" she said defiantly, "At any rate it matters not, we have dispatched ravens to the lords they will fight for their king, and my brother is already en route to lead our armies, this pretender will fall and be brought before us and he will then have time to contemplate his choices in taking up arms against the realms rightful king my son soon enough I assure you of that."

The war contrary to what the would be Usurper had hoped, did not last long nor did it go in his favor. Not a single lord rose to help, and in a single battle his army was obliterated by the Kingslayer. The would be Usurper will be brought in chains to the capital, the news had spread very quickly. By the time news had reached the Capital however the Queen had given birth to a son named Robert, a Prince of Tyrell stock, and everyone truly believed this King and Queen to be blessed by the gods to rule. But it was not to last, for a few days after being born, according to Grandmaester Theobald the maester who replaced Pycelle was Westerman, had pronounced the boy at risk of death and the young Prince merely lasted two days, which the small folk took as a major sign from the Gods that perhaps this young King was not blessed after all.
