Okay so I was doing a little research on Lys and somehow I found myself reading about House Qoherys and was wondering if they are getting any attention in the next update. Seems kinda odd to me that one of the three recorded families that escaped THE DOOM™ doesn't have a bloodline. They should at least get the flat increase on dragon taming and hatching that the Velaryons get. Back to research for me though! And photoshop!

With Aegon giving Harrenhal to the Maester-of-Arms in Dragonstone and all that. Searching for it i didn't get any mention of dragon riders or something like that among them, unlike the Velaryons. Talking about it i had similar thought about the people who can go behind the Black Wall in Volantis, the ones who can trace their blood all the way back to Old Valyria. Maybe a bloodline, for example "Blood of Old Valyria" with half the modifiers of "Blood of the Dragon" would be a good way to show this in game, fitting to the nobles of Volantis, Lys and minor houses in westeros like Qoherys and Celtigar?

I’m not sure the Qoheryses are nobles of Valyria like the Velaryons or Targaryens (after all the first Qoherys lord of Harrenhal was just master of Arms on Dragonstone, which is not a position reserved for the landed nobility) - I see them more as the nobility of Volantis who in the time of Valyria we’re just soldiers and civil servants from Valyria with no nobility who declared themselves nobles post Doom (by contrast the Velaryons were nobles with land holdings just were not part of the Forty Families of the Upper Nobility who controlled government and had dragons) I’m not against giving the Qoheryses a bloodline though and probably will but I don’t think any dragon bonuses besides their innate Valyrian culture gives them.

OH! Okay that makes sense. See, I always thought the Qoheryses ( <- ??? lol) were Valyrian minor nobles like the Velaryons.

I'm thinking the bloodline effects: martial +1 combat rating +5 chance of duelist valyrian opinion +5 (valyrians stick together lol)

I don't know if someone already asked, but..why Ned Stark don't have a bloodline? I mean, it could be too much bloodlines for House Stark, but Ned really should have one. The north is loyal and are fighting the Bolton and are willing to install a savage child because of him and there's the whole "The North Remembers", he's basically the Jaehaerys of the North

Since carcosa will be in but the winged city not, are you planning to put also the other semi-legendary places of far east like k'dath, bonetown and cities of bloodless men?

But since all of them have little lore, cultures and religions with no special things outside some few events like the rituals would be fine to add more flavour to the far east.

Was any thought put into whether or not the dragonseeds should have bloodlines? I'm not part of the team behind the mod but I do have a good amount of knowledge regarding the lore of the ASOIAF setting. I unfortunately, despite the fact that I personally would love for them to have bloodlines, don't believe that most the Dragonseeds should have special bloodlines. Hugh Hammer (badass house name) bonded with Vermithor (dragon of Jaeherys I) and betrayed The Blacks during the Battle of Tumbleton with Ulf White. Hugh was killed during Battle of Tumbleton 2: Electric Boogaloo. Ulf White bonded with Silverwing and died shortly after Tumbleton 2 from poisoned wine Addam Velaryon should at least get the "Dragon Rider" bloodline that Jacaerys Velaryon has Alyn Velaryon already has "The OAKENFIST" bloodline Nettles threw sheep at sheepstealer hoping her efforts in pleasing the beast enough to allow her to ride would pay off. She was a lover of Daemon Targaryen and fled on Sheepstealer shortly before the Battle Over the Gods Eye. Nettles is interesting because she is rumored to have become a hermit in the Vale. I could see her possibly getting a bloodline during her exile. The Dragonseeds are my favorite part of the Dance of Dragons bookmark. I always bro it up with Ulf, Hugh, and Nettles and give them lands in my domain (that they hoped they would get for participating (Ulf wanted Highgarden...who DOESNT want Highgarden)) if they survive

As for the dragon seed bloodlines - maybe, perhaps a dragontaming bonus as they are meant to be Targ descendants but lack the bloodlines that go with the Targs, maybe a strong trait gain for Hugh. As for nettles some learning maybe and her gfx needs changing given her description, also I’m one of those who thinks that she’s actually Daemons daughter not his lover so might add that in maybe
