I have an idea! If a character killed someone important (rival, LP, king..) in a battle, his sword can become an artifact, with the text as it served to kill x character. It can give you a bonus from your realm and a malus from the dynasty of the guy you killed.

Armour look good! Have you considered adding Jaime's Golden Armour? Yeah, it might be in the next update. Just occurred to me you could add Mance's black and red cloak, with maybe a prestige boost an opinion boost for wildling with an opinion malus for black brothers Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to my to-do list. Hi the mod looks great but dont you think some of those artifact are OP, i mean Raeghar´s Armor gives to much ombat skill, unless you balance Robert´s armor or war hammer i don´t see him having a chance in a duel. Rhaegar's armor gives the same stats as generic tier 3 armor, that's not very OP if you ask me. Almost all of my other artifacts use the same stats as existing ones to help keep balance. It sounds like you might be playing an older version of the AGOT mod (1.7.1 seriously buffed combat multipliers). If you are still worried about Robert constantly losing to Rhaegar (which I doubt will happen anyways), remember this submod isn't complete yet and I plan to add more to it, like Robert's armor/helm. thelastofhisname Great suggestions but both of those bows are already included in the AGOT mod.

Yeah you are right I was playing an old version and was looking to download some submods before playing the new one, i was concerned because the combat score before was on a much smaller scale that it is in the current version. Now that i have seen the new combat score on the mod i found your stat appropriate and will be playing your submod because it looks awesome and it gives more flavor. Would you consider adding to the Reed´s Frog Spear further boost that resemble their traditional approach to warfare? like giving a small bonus on defense and in rough terrain because the lore explains that they basically rely on ambushing enemies on the swamps.

the patch for "personal arms" that had version 0.3 has become obsolete? I ask because in the folder of version 0.4 was not added.

Yeah, the Personal Arms submod should be getting a big update soon and when it does I'm adding a new patch. It shouldn't be too hard to make your own patch though there's only a dozen or so history files that conflict.

I came up with an artifact How about the ring worn by the young prince Aegon V when he was a squire of "duncan the tall", created by his father with his personal emblem for his protection?

I had a thought for an artifact - we get a pretty decent description of Edmure Tully's armour before the battle of the Fords and it could make for a good armour artifact: "Tell Father I have gone to make him proud." Her brother swung up into his saddle, every inch the lord in his bright mail and flowing mud-and-water cloak. A silver trout ornamented the crest of his greathelm, twin to the one painted on his shield." Catelyn VI ACOK

Hey, just had a thought for a suggestion, in Fire & Blood the description of the Battle of the Kingsroad at the end of the Dance features the death of Lord Borros Baratheon "then he charged ... straight into the spiked iron ball at the end of Lord Kermit's morningstar, which took him full in the face in a grisly spray of blood and bone and brain" - it might be fun if the Tullys had kept the morningstar as a relic, after all how many houses get to have the weapon which slew a Lord of Storms End, also Black Aly should get a Weirwood Longbow

Most of my artifacts are going to be included in the next AGOT release which will make this submod mostly useless. I'm currently busy with another project and will probably take this submod down after the next release.

Also I really love the work you've done, if you're moving away from creating artifacts would you be prepared to make a quick tutorial on how to make the icons for them, they're quite hard to do? Most of all thanks for creating this mod, its brilliant and I'm glad to hear the devs recognised how high quality it is!

They're all being added except the Leech Box and the Kingsguard Cloak so I don't see much of a point in keeping the mod updated just for those two artifacts. Regarding the tutorial, I like the idea but I really don't have the free time to spend on it, I'm currently on different mod team and have a lot of work to do there. The best advice I could give someone who is interested in making ck2 gfx themselves is to just practice and try to match the game's aesthetic. For artifacts in particular try using the blank artifact background under your custom artifact gfx, it will go a long way with making it match the style of the pre-existing artifacts.

Fair enough - good luck with the new mod! I can't seem to find the blank artifact background is it in the main game files or in the mod files?

Weird, really enjoyed the Kingsguard Cloak mechanic and the addition of an artifact with it. Was hoping they'd add it to the main mod at least.

The Kingsguard Cloak artifact was neat, but I'm sure it could be implemented in a Kingsguard-centric submod instead (like if Knights of the Sword Tower was ever revived).
