The main mod already gives Aegon's gold dragon to his children and brothers. I took the character flag off of Aegon II's brothers and children simply because it was his own personal sigil, and it might be quite likely that had he won the Dance of Dragons and had legitimate heirs, they would've reverted back to the Red and Black banner. It's a personal choice I've made. You can compare the main mod crownland history files to my edited ones to see how to add the Gold Banner back onto Aegon II's kids and brothers if you'd like to tack them back on though.
I haven't even downloaded the new version yet, it'll probably be a few weeks before I start updating this.

Ah I see, so the Targaryen_Green flag is related to the banner change. Thank you again, I really enjoy the submod and see I may have came off as rude or upset last comment. I was wondering specifically where in the code the flag is recognized and then the new banner is applied.

That's correct! You'll also wanna check out the birth events file, you'll have to add in a section to add on the character flag to any children that are born with parents with the Targaryen_Green flag. Basically something like this:
# Targaryen Green descendant
if = {
limit = {
dynasty = 496 OR = {
father = { has_character_flag = targaryen_green }
mother_even_if_dead = { has_character_flag = targaryen_green }
}
}
set_character_flag = targaryen_green }
That will make sure that any children of the Targaryen dynasty born to a father (or mother in a matrillenial marriage) inherits the character flag. Just CTRL + F the file for Rhaenyra to find the Targaryen Black flag section and you can paste it right under it. You can do this with any of the personal sigils if you want to make them inheritable.

Thank you you've been a lot of help! I noticed that with 1.9.1 updated that a lot (but not all) of the crownland's dynasties have issues with their coat of arms, specifically the bottom half of the correct coat is displayed in the top half of the shield, but a different house is below their's. I assume there's simply an issue where the location of the sigil in the tga file is slightly off. Is there anyway that I could make a quick fix to this?

I think to fix that one of the files needs a quick change to reflect the new number of CoAs in the Crownlands file.

It's an issue with the coat of arms file in the interface file, since new COAs have been added it'll throw everything off. I'm working on updating everything as we speak, should have it ready within the next few days.

Not to be rude or anything, but is there any progress on the update?

I've gotten all the files updated, but I'm having some problems getting the COAs to show up in game. Not sure what's going on, but I'm looking into it. Hoping to have something new posted soon.

Finally got it working! 0.5 is now available, download is the first post. Everything should be running smoothly, I only booted it up in the WOT5K bookmark to check since there's so many personal arms in that start date to check. Let me know if you run into any issues or bugs. I'll update again when necessary, when Congenital Overhaul is updated I'll try and put out a compatibility patch. It's mostly about keeping this up to date, as there's not any new features at this time.
v0.5 Changelog: - Updated for 1.9.1 - Updated Barbrey's character flag to match the one used by the main mod. She'll use the COA included in the main mod - Renly's kids should be inheriting his personal arms flag now

Am I mad or is there no .mod file in the zip file?

Oh good, I made my own and it worked but it seemed like an oversight to not include it

I'll be working on getting this updated to 2.0. Haven't played the mod in a few months, so I'll see what I need to update.

You'll be doing the same for Aegon the Usurper, I hope? Golden dragon on black? Yep! Aegon II will use his Golden Dragon as well: Do you use a mod for character portraits ? I'd like to have Aegon II be able to revert back to the regular Targ coat of arms after Rhaenyra's death or if he wins the Dance of the Dragons, but given historically he didn't long outlive Rhaenyra, it should be alright for him to just use the arms for life and let his children revert back to the regular Targaryen arms. I want to Rhaenyra to continue using the quartered arms even if she wins, though, with the ability to pass them onto her Velaryon children. Her Targ children with Daemon will use the regular arms, of course.

The character portraits mod I use primarily is Better Faces by Tubbs.
