The Neck Duchy provinces and the Crackclaw Point duchy provinces should all have the game's Marsh Terrain for the defensive buff and army speed debuffs. This really only changes one province at the Neck.
Both because of their swampy terrain helped keep invaders such as the Andals from ever have any luck through invasion. The same reason Overlords still have trouble collecting taxes from them. Anyone attacking them should have a terrain disadvantage.

If I'm not mistaken, the areas of The Neck already has a special type of terrain (Neck Causeway) which gives bonuses to the defender, attrition and makes it a bitch to fight in. Could be I don't remember it correctly, and don't know how Crackclaw Point is designed.

You are not mistaken for part of the terrain on the neck. Which is why I said only 1 province would be affected at the neck. 1 is listed as forest the other 1 is already marsh. Two have the Neck Causeway but those are the provinces with the road on them.
