Hello, my name is Leônidas S. Pereira and I'm a fellow researcher at the Grad School of Design at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a public university in Brazil. I've created this thread because I'm currently working on a research project related to the development and managerial practices in total conversion game modification projects. I would like to know if someone who worked on project Crusader Kings 2: A Game of Thrones would be available for an online audio interview in English, to talk about how things are (or were) done in the development of the project. Ideally this person would be a team leader or coordinator, present in the project from the start. I've been working in the last few years on academic research projects specifically related to digital and "analog" games, and I've already published some of my works as papers in academic journals. For more about me you can check here: lattes.cnpq.br/7300532130555762 or here: www.linkedin.com/in/leônidas-soares-pereira-8b587234 This is a voluntary research related to my Master's Degree thesis and won't provide me nor the university any sort of monetary gain. Similarly, we can't offer any sort of reward for participating beyond the fact that whoever participates will have helped to advance the knowledge about this still underresearched topic. I really hope and look forward to any possible participation. Game mods, and specially total conversions, are a very intriguing and interesting phenomena that the world should know a little bit more about. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Leônidas S. Pereira

Hi Leonidas!
Let me start saying that I am not a modder, even less from the developers team for CK2: AGOT. But I am a fellow Brazilian and I would like to wish you good luck with your thesis.
I too agree that mods are very interesting part of the gaming world/market and more people should learn about it, either by supporting modders or becoming modder themselves.
I would like to believe that I am on the path, becoming a modder since I am back again in college, in Canada on Software Engineering program [that includes game development =)], so I hope in the future I can create my own mods or be part of a modding community awesome as the CK2 - AGOT.
Best of luck!

Thank you for the kind words danshamal and I agree, modding is such a fascinating phenomena with so many nice people involved (I've even already managed to schedule a couple of interviews with modders from other projects). I wish you the best of luck on your endeavors as well. abraços!
