So I consider the Ironborn invasion cb to be too powerful and none lore friendly for the following reasons.
First of all, according to canon there was really only one instance when the Ironborn would go on to conquer a whole realm in its entirety (the conquest of the Riverlands by the Hoares), so there is really no reason to have them stand out in the regard of large scale conquest when compared to other Westerosi kingdoms (like the Stormlands for example) and give them a card blanch to take everything they want, just because they have some traits, when other kingdoms are much, much more restricted . Secondly, the cb's properties that allow you to directly usurp all of the occupied holdings (that including all duke/count/baron tier holdings) doesn't make much sense lorewise either, since we know that the Hoares were forced to maintain their Riverman subjects.
Thirdly, to use the pirate invasion cb which allows one to conquer one duchy/high lordship at a time, instead makes more sense. We know from canon that the Ironborn instead of delving too far inland(where they couldn't be supported by their longships) would rather only occupy token coastal provinces for the sake of establishing outposts to more easily resupply their raiding expeditions and make raiding more accessible/comfortable in general (hence their occupation of bear island, the shield isles).
Therefore if we replace the current ironborn cb with the pirate one the player will still be able to simulate large scale invasions through the usage of the classic "expand the realm by conquest ambition" while otherwise using the Pirate cb to attain lorefriendly coastal footholds.
Suggestion: Change the Ironborn Invasion cb's properties to mimic the Pirate Invasion's properties, for the sake of canon friendliness.
