I am sorry the comments have mostly devolved into just constant requests for help or for you to do more free work. So I just wanted to say thanks so much! This mod seems like it's *perfect* for the CK2 AGOT scene.
Sadly I'm also one of the potential bug sufferers. I've started multiple campaigns as Aegon the Conqueror and there are 0 dragon eggs in the world. Meraxes often become a mating pair with Balerion, but the farthest I got (8023) never saw any eggs whatsoever. From the description of the mod, it seems like there's supposed to a ton of eggs right from the beginning.
Also, the debug option doesn't work. I can turn it on, but there's no extra toggles after that, it just switches to the option to turn it back off. Doesn't give me extra options. I'm playing ironman, maybe that is also part of the issue.
MODLIST: My active submods are:
AGOT Knights of the Sword Tower (I consider this one to be vital, I love the Kingsguard stuff, so I haven't tested by disabling it yet).
AGOT Marshal Matters (Not super important to me but I like the ability to have your marshal train your children.)
AGOT TDP (Naturally)
AGOT Valyrian Blood (Yes I've checked the setting that it is on. Weirdly enough there's two identical spots asking if it's still on. But I've disabled the mod and still haven't had any dragon eggs, so I don't think it's that.)
That's it. So yeah, I am stumped. My next action is to disable the other two Azael mods but like I said Knights of the Sword Tower is super important to me and I'm not sure how these would conflict anyways.
Thanks again for the really wonderful mod giving me a reason to return to CK2 agot as I wait for CK3 AGOT dragons.
EDIT: Just had time to disable every mod but this one and main agot mod and I am still having these issues. I'll try to delete and reinstall, I guess. I've also realized that I have played CK2 for years and years and maybe some it's outdated. For example, my ck2 is set to 3.2.1, and I downloaded the AGOT mod a year or two ago, maybe more, but I think it's probably at 2.2. Should I be on ck2 3.3.0? Does this matter?
Further edit I'm dumb and softened by CK3. The main screen says Version 2.1 under game of thrones. So it looks like I might just need to uninstall and redownload everything

So it looks like I might just need to uninstall and redownload everything I have the same issue with dragon eggs (absence thereof) in conquest bookmark I played with one of the previous versions of TDP and the eggs were there. My guess is one of updates broke it. And while I'm at it, in my game I was able to motivate my son to tame Meraxes after Rhaenys died (couldn't tame it myself for some reason rightfully so I guess) even though I was playing as Aegon's bastard brother (legitimised, cadet branch) and vassal. Maybe it's intended this way, I have no idea how it's supposed to work when AI plays targ dynasty head, maybe Aegon also allowed him to tame. Also Aegon still sometimes conquests into essos instead of westeros at the start of conquest bookmark (technically there's no iron throne yet so not a bug?) My submods are eeh too many to list, nothing major or relating to dragons anyway. P.S. The main screen says Version 2.1 bc mod autors forgot to change it, it's actually 2.2 you don't need to redownload anything. P.P.S thanks serbranch for this mod it's very cool

Silly me I had to go somewhere so I uninstalled every ck2 mod I had. I never play the game anymore besides for AGOT so I'll just redownload a few mods. I could have sworn I had a game a few nights ago that it definitely worked and I had eggs, so yea, it might just be a bug, in which case, glad to bring it to light.

Yeah, sorry to spam the board, but it does seem like this submod might have a wee bug. I haven't had time to play a later bookmark to see if eggs are still working as intended in those, but the Conquest bookmark is unplayable with 0 dragon eggs, at least for the few decades I've seen.
I also have mentioned, but it seems the debug menu doesn't work. There's no options regardless of whether it's on or off.

No problem with commenting problems overall! Just need modlists so I can help quicker.
For yall's problems in Aegon's Conquest, its not triggering the egg spam event because he's Valyrian religion. I did that because earlier bookmarks were getting a LOT of eggs, but totally forgot that Aegon starts as Valyrian religion so I imagine that was a surprise. However, the reason i did this is because Valyrian religion + High Valyrian culture characters have their own decision to get dragon eggs from any dragon (with a cooldown) regardless of gender. You will just have to click on the dragon and select "Get Dragon Eggs"
Similarly, your issue with the DEBUG function is because there are no DEBUG decisions in the decision menu. They are mostly all Targeted Decisions and one Title Decision. I will add all available DEBUG options into the main post.
EDIT: There is actually one decision in the decision menu which is the Emergency Hatch but its only available when there are 0 dragons in the world.

Thanks muchly.

SerBranch:
Quick Question: Why only 1 dragon taming per lifetime?
1. LOVE THE MOD 2. I understand but disagree with 1 Dragon per life time. I think HoD is setting up the possibility of taming more than one. Based on Daemon and Vermithor. I agree it's a reach but still. 3. I would like to request a modification that will allow dragonriders the ability to at least tame a maximum of 3.
Reason why:
1. Rider tames old Dragon like Viserys with Balerion. If someone could tame a dragon as fierce and old as Balerion then it would stand to reason Viserys should be to tame another dragon especially a much younger one. 2. A young dragonrider tames young dragon that dies for whatever reason. That a big penalty for that player to take. Especially if it due not to the player's action or inaction. 3. A dragonrider bonded to a dragon say less than a year. Reasons similar to 2.
Reason not? 1. Limit the amount of dragonriders in the game. 2. Ensure characters are not foolish with their dragon.
I believe 3 is an appropriate number that addresses all concerns I've listed. If you don't think this is appropriate, I defer to you. However, where would I modify the number to 2 or 3.
Respectfully,
JG

Anyways I just wanted to come back and say I've spent a few hours tonight playing with this mod and others and I really, really appreciate it. You've breathed fresh life into one of the best mods of all time! I really needed this while waiting for the CK3 AGOT summer update and the Roads to Power DLC.
Thank you so much.

Hi, your mod works perfectly for me honestly. But I added PO and the children broke, they appear with adult portraits...
Specifically, Dragon re Work breaks the children lol.
Agot MB 2.2 Agot Mixed Ethnicities - base Agot PO - Base Agot PO + MB Agot Po + Enchanced Child GFX Agot Po + Mixed Ethnicities
Agot The Dragon Peace MB Agot Dragon Re-Work MB
The problem is perhaps that I use MB 2.2 normal? Maybe I could remove Mixed Ethnicities, would mb, po, and this set of mods be compatible on their own?

Re-Work is included in TDP Secondly, I'm unsure about compatibility with PO because its just so expansive that I havent had the desire to go through it all yet. From what little I do know about Portrait modding, it could be an conflict with 00_portrait_properties.txt file but thats just off the top of my head

Respectfully, JG Like lordbear said, there's a Game Rule that removes this if you prefer. I'm not going to add your recommendation for 3 because there is absolutely zero evidence for riders taming more than one dragon in any lore. Balerion died when Viserys was 17-18 yet he NEVER tamed another dragon after that. If he could tame another dragon, he would have many choices (Vermithor, Silverwing, Dreamfyre, Vhagar, Caraxes, etc were all riderless at some point in Viserys' life) AND he would've had the responsibility as King to mount a dragon (how are you gonna be the dynasty head of a dragon rider family without a dragon??). He wasn't afraid of dragons, nor would he just ignore the fact that he needs a dragon, so the logical conclusion is that he couldn't. For those that choose to use the Dragon Limiter rule, one dragon per rider creates a more lore accurate level of difficulty to controlling a dragon empire. It creates a fragility to the dragons that is reflected in lore.

I'm wondering is CBBT compatible with your version of MB then if this mod is for your version?
