Ser Branch: I see your reasoning and it's your mod. Thanks for the info on about the Limit Rule. However, I would posit maybe Viserys did want to have another mount? And if it's the case of only one dragon? Why bind to a dragon that's about to die if you could tame only one? Then again either version of Viserys could easily make that decision.
But I think it's safe to say there's no case of a another dragonrider taming another dragon after the loss of a previous dragon in canon. Which would strongly back your dragon rule. There are game reasons as well. Which I mentioned as did you. Also I think it would it would serve as check to people risking young dragons.
I guess my question might be best put as thus, "when are dragons tamed?". Are they bonded in the cradle? When they're hatched? When there flown? I would think logically and what the books seems to suggest is when they're ridden and only then so much. Kinda like lions and wolves are still wild animals no matter if raised in capitivity.
Canon would seem to suggest that they're not ever fully tamed. And what does this mean for Dani in the books concerning Viserion and Rhaegel cause the books and the show seem to imply Drogon is binded to Dani. I guess the easy way out is to say that since Dani is their mother, then all 3 are bonded to her until some one else captivity. But anyway this outside the scope of nodding. Thank you for your indulgence.
It's still a great f@cking mod. Kudos to you.
Respectfully,
Jim

Thank you! Its interesting to wonder. In Viserys' case, I think of it similar to the show's thought process for why he got re-married. He got re-married because it was his responsibility as King to have a strong ally tied by marriage to show that House Targaryen was still strong. If getting re-married was important to show strength to the realm, wouldn't having a dragon be just as important?
In the mod, I have them bonded when they become friends with a dragon. Jaehaerys and Vermithor bonded very early since Vermithor was hatched from the egg placed in Jaehaerys' cradle.

I'm no longer replying to anyone with bugs unless you include your submod list My mod list is wild: AGOT AGOT Cartographic Map AGOT Dueling Duelist AGOT Graphics Overhaul
AGOT Graphics Overhaul MB AGOT Lowborn Purge AGOT Marshall Matters AGOT More Bloodlines (Plus) AGOT Squires and Wards AGOT The Dragon's Peace
AGOT Valyrian Blood AGOT Winter Soldier AGOT: Patrum Scuta Bigger Interface for Game of Thrones Performance by Trexeth Seduction and Romance Revamped
I used to have AGOT PO - Base, AGOT PO + CO + MB Compatch, and AGOT - Enhanced Child GFX. However, the child portraits were collapsing and half of the hairs and custome clothes and such disappeared from the game, and sometimes portraits would disappear as well. Otherwise, this mod list seems to work fine.

Hello! Amazing mod, absolutely love it. One thing that's a bit iffy IMO is the "allow_tame_dragon" flag firing automatically when you switch rules. Like many CK2AGOT players I expect, I frequently switch to the AI to correct it't Jank. However a couple of months later I get a notification of the game proudly telling me that that character (the last two I had were Edmure Tully which made me laugh but i confiscated, and Euron which seemed so fitting I left it) has tamed one of my wild dragons. Is it possible to change the code or include a maintanance event so this doesn't fire automatically, but rather the flag is applied after a short while of a player controlling a chracter? It occurs to me now that I didn't try any of the debug options, but if there could be one to remove being allowed to tame that would be grand (sorry if there is one already and I just missed it

Hello guys, I think I managed to find the part that allowed Prince Morion to tame a dragon. Context, I had a playthrough where as Jaehaerys I married Viserra to Morion to take Dorne into the fold. He kept his royal title, and managed to nab a dragon from the dragonpit. Might be an edge case, or I could be completely off my rocker.
#Emperor tier/Dragonstone is Allowed to tame character_event = { id = dragon_rework.20 is_triggered_only = yes hide_window = yes has_global_flag = age_of_dragons trigger = { OR = { tier = EMPEROR has_landed_title = c_dragonstone has_character_flag = given_darksister has_artifact = dragon_egg } } immediate = { set_character_flag = can_receive_egg set_character_flag = allowed_to_tame_dragon } }

Hello! I just wanted to report a bug that has been occurring when using this mod. When the wall is controlled by someone with a living family member it appears to fracture into a Wall duchy that's not "The Night's Watch" ruled by a member of the person who controls "The Night's Watch." Also creates a Wall Duchy led by a white walker when the wall is taken by "The Winter" title in the later start dates. I found this bug was repeatable by starting at the Dance of Dragons start date, console killing the lord commander of the watch until the Stark is in charge, and letting the game run in observe mode for a year or two. This happens in other instances as well, but this was the way to make it happen the fastest. The title seems to fix itself within a year or so of being fractured by is still fractured enough for the two Wall titles to fight each other or a war from a Westeros lord to restore the watch or mess with some characters inheritance. Even when fixed, it will fracture again soon after in some kind of cycle. Here is the Modlist: A Game of Thrones More Bloodlines (The tweaked Plus version) AGOT Soundtrack The Dragon's Peace Bye Far East (MB Patch)

Yes Portraits Overhaul is currently not compatible.

I'll update the links tomorrow but if you want to just swap the code instead of re-downloading then there ya go. @seiðrshade after investigating I'm not sure why its doing that if you're just swapping. If those characters also got their hands on Dragon Eggs then your problem is solved by the same event that nereis is having a problem with.

could we get a game setting based on dragon eggs as i have found that there are hundreds popping up every where and it is quite overwhelming just a setting that reverts to normal numbers or the previous amounts from this mod.

good morrow serbranch its been a while since i last checked out your mod, im glad to see ck2 modding hasnt killed you yet lol, ive been playing again recently and love your updates and i was wondering if you can integrate AGOT Extra dragon portraits into your own since it adds an even greater variety of dragon portraits, since it doesnt replace portraits but adds ontop of it, i love the dragons expanded portraits but it makes sunfyre "THE GOLDEN" black and red colored which i hate, i believe its because the dragons expanded mod doesnt have a image for a golden dragon i wanna try replacing one image in the mod with the vanilla sunfyre image and make sunfyre use that image do you think that could be possible? i wish you a good day and thank you for making this mod <3
