AGOT Portrait Overhaul + Homes for Houses 1.7.1 COMPATCH

Hello,


I've come up with a compatch that will make two of the most popular AGOT CK2 mods compatible: AGOT Portrait Overhaul (Updated 19/12/2022) and Homes for Houses 1.7.1, the latest versions of both mods as of today, the date of the initial upload, the 23rd of December 2022.

You need the following mods for this to function:

• AGOT More Bloodlines
• AGOT Homes for Houses 1.7.1 (which requires AGOT More Bloodlines to work)
  
• AGOT Portrait Overhaul - Base
• AGOT Portrait Overhaul - PO + MB

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This compatch is not available for the AGOT Portrait Overhaul Congenital Overhaul version. It only works for AGOT Portrait Overhaul + More Bloodlines. For this to work, only have "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - Base" and "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - PO + MB" enabled. Do NOT enable "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - Characters", as the mods will conflict. These instructions are provided by the mod author of "AGOT Portrait Overhaul", choochoo, on his mod's page.


ADDITIONAL NOTES:

1. This compatch provides compatibility for "AGOT Portrait Overhaul" (the More Bloodlines version updated on 19/12/2022) and "Homes for Houses 1.7.1", which are the latest versions of both mods as of the 23rd of December 2022.
2. Please review the important note above that was bolded for instructions on how to get this working properly.
   
3. Given that I do not use Congenital Overhaul, this compatch is not usable with "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - PO + CO + MB". If enough people request it, I may put together a compatch that works with the CO version of AGOT Portrait Overhaul.
4. In the CK2 launcher, in your Crusader Kings II/mod folder and in the .mod file of the compatch, the mod is named "AGOT Portrait Overhaul PO + Homes for Houses". This is not incidental, as it is set to load right underneath all of its dependencies, effectively overwriting their files so that the full functionality of the compatch is ensured.
5. This compatch modifies the following files: history/characters (check the .zip to see which text files are modified exactly) and common/cultures/first_men.txt.
6. I'll try to keep this updated.
   
   

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Simply drag the contents of the .zip file into your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod. If you don't have a "mod" folder in there, create one yourself, but you should already have other mods installed by now so there's no point in reiterating this. Again, only activate "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - Base" and "AGOT Portrait Overhaul - PO + MB" besides the compatch and all of its required dependencies (More Bloodlines and Homes for Houses 1.7.1).
