Hello! I am looking for a mod/knowledge on how to turn off the seasons mechanic. As flavorful as it is, it seems to barely impact the game while presumably being responsible for a pretty immense toll on performance. My machine is no push over so I'm not here for any copium about needing to play it on a better computer(3070ti, 32 gb ram, 10700K i7 3.8 ghz) and I still get CTDs on the regular playing at 2 speed. Disabling many features that I know are spamming events/characters has helped reduce the number of crashes, and I can't think of any event sending out more constant messages when it triggers than the current season mechanic. Any insight on how to disable this would be helpful! 
I enjoy colonizing the old ruins of Valyria so unfortunately just turning off Essos isn't really an option for me, despite that massive continent absolutely bloating the game and tanking performance like crazy for no real meaningful gain on my end. But I suppose if anyone has a mod/suggestion for how to kill off everything but the free cities/slavers bay(bonus for Qarth and asshai) in Essos I would be game to do that as well to boost performance while retaining the elements of Essos that actually impact most playthroughs.
Even direction as to which files I'd have to edit myself would be appreciated, don't mind doing the work myself if I know where to look!!
