AGOT Far East Mod
Hey, I tend to play in the east for most of my games and have always been annoyed with the lack of detail that the eastern portion of the map gets, mods like Yi Ti expanded helped but I wanted more. So I started to make my own modification which originally was just gonna be a couple edits to cultures and some provinces, that has since spiralled out of control and now I am bringing here to see if anyone else finds this map expansion fun to use. This mod is based on the 'AGOT More Provinces Plus Compatch' so with it and my own additions I do not recommend trying this mod if you have a weak pc, unless you enjoy frying your motherboard. Contents:
Dozens of unique buildings added to many p rovinces of the eastern kingdoms, plus new buildings only buildable in cities located in certain biomes. More Bloodlines regional barracks have been added to all new provinces along with new barracks for many of the new regions. A playable Thousand Islands with buildings and changes taken or inspired by the playable thousand islands Mod, they use a tribal government and have a hostile and looting religion. (The descriptions might be edited and changed if Turtleshroom responds to my messages and isn't ok with them being included) Link to Playable Thousand Islands: agotcitadel.boards.net/thread/2579/sons-deep-playable-islands-out (incompatible with this mod) Expanded number of provinces in Leng, Asshai, Moraqi, Ashabhad and the Bone Mountains. New empire tier titles in places that had none before, no actual events linked to them yet as events are my weak spot in modding atm. The Grey Wastes and the inhabiting Grey Clansmen exist now as a wildling like threat to Yi Ti, with a prestigious Clansman able to become a Warmaster of the Wastes and if they are truly legendary even become the Avatar of the Lion to tear down the five forts and bring in the golden age of the Clans, with the wastes spanning from N'Ghai to Carcosa. Giants have a province now in the mountains beyond the wall, with any children who have the giant portrait becoming Giant culture no matter their parentage, so even if they marry normal humans they won't immediately go extinct, and the Giant trait gives unique stats and effects to make all giants innately different from humans. The Giant culture also gives provinces that have it a drastic decrease to levy size but a massive increase to infantry effectiveness, though cavalry are still normal humans so the more infantry and archers you have in a giant province the better. Religions have been edited throughout the east, with many holy sites changing to stop start of game reformations (looking at you Gods of Yi Ti) and to give many religions more unique features. One new religion has been added, The Gods of Leng, a heresy of The Gods of Yi Ti. Multiple new cultures have been added, from offshoots of the Grey Clansmen of the Wastes like the Bloodless Clansmen and Winged Clansmen, to Carcosa being populated by Carcosans and the eastern side of Yi Ti, past a major river being populated by the Yi Tanny, a tribal offshoot of YiTish with inspirations from the Shadowlanders of Asshai, with their culture working in the same way. Many other features that I have inevitably forgotten are also included. DO NOT expect this mod to follow cannon, while I liked the TV show and found the world interesting, my interest in following the book lore is minimal, and other than making sure it vaguely followed what I could find on the wiki, this mod inevitably adds plenty that is just there because I thought it would be neat to add. If any bugs or issues are found I will try to quickly update, but I mostly work when I am motivated so updates might be quick or rare. Your pictures don't work for me.
How does that work with the Forts? Have they been expanded upon?

Dunno about the pictures, just uploaded them to google pictures and added them to the post. I haven't touched the forts much other than push the white walker spawn into the actual wastes, set each fort to have the garrison they have in lore (10k) and split the marshes into a few provinces to make the pass of the mourn have a point. Otherwise I wasn't sure about splitting the fort into 5 provinces for each fort and making them a nights watch like system, mainly because I am terrible at event modding and adapting all the nights watch features looks quite daunting.

Perhaps the picture problem is on my side. Now some load while others don't. I wasn't trying to criticise you. My modding doesn't go further than changing province histories.

Slight Update, added a download for my attempt at an Eastern Nightswatch, the main problems with it is that the lord assigns castles as feudal rather than the correct government, Yi Ti can still invade them which they always do, and the lord commander for them keeps getting automatically married. Otherwise I added the split five forts to the main mod and did a couple minor edits to them and the surrounding area.

I have also modified CK2 Mod's Biblioteca (which added 100's books with me changing the books to known books that are canon and some which are world-based). I added almost all the mods that added more artifacts (again changed them to meet canon artifacts not listed in the game or stuff like Hugor's Hammer, King Durran's Armour etc) I have not figured out how to get them all to spawn but I changed the files they could be used in game. (I added Excalibur because I like Excalibur).

'Yi Ti More Bloodlines Compatch' should be incompatible since the 'More Provinces Compatch' already made Yi Ti Expanded compatible with MB, the Yi Ti compatch should only be necessary if you want to avoid colonizable Valyria, which is a requirement of my mod and the more provinces compatch unfortunately. Otherwise reformations might have some issues since I edit a couple of the files it edits, but since I don't use that mod and I've only just given it a once over I can't be sure.

I'm also running the AGOT Cities of Wonders Mod with the More Buildable Wonders. Is there a conflict with those mods too? It crashes when loading.

Really good mod, I no next to nothing of modding and I've always wanted to make a "modlist" of sorts which combined a ton of stuff. I did a bit of modding here and there to make other mods compatible with this one and its dependencies which worked easily since it wasn't the big of changes. I tried combining this mod and HfH, and man, that looks like it'd take forever. I don't even know the first place to start on that. I would guess you'd need to re-number every province id and also change all the text files to represent the new numbers and their corresponding stats/buildings. That's a doozy. If anyone does that then you got my respect.
