I've received permission from LancelotLoire , the original creator for CO, to move my MB-compatible version to a separate post. You no longer need to sift through the old thread! I apologize for taking so long to get these things I knew were issues months ago fixed: it was a mixture of procrastination, laziness, and also school. INFO/INSTRUCTIONS:- This is standalone, you don't need the original CO on the old thread, but you must be using More Bloodlines!
- Delete your gfx folders, which can be found at "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/gfx" AND "Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/A Game of Thrones/gfx".
- Delete any previous installations of Congenital Overhaul (and Faces Modification if you are planning to use my version of Faces Modification for CO in the 3rd link).
- DON'T DRAG AND DROP over an older version of CO or FM, I might delete a few files while updating and it might break your game if you do.
- Make sure you can see both the .MOD file and the "AGOT Congenital Overhaul" folder in your mod list.
- Always, always start a new save after you install this!
DOWNLOAD:
use this with Congenital Overhaul + MB, not by itself--if you don't want the CO hairs during your gameplay. > DO NOT use this with Faces Modification for CO
use this with Congenital Overhaul + MB, not by itself--if you want Faces Mod. during your gameplay. > DO NOT use this with No Extra Hairs

The only problem that i have seen so far its about the strong seed (the appeareance/hair/eyes) from the houses that are not working for example the reynes not being redheads. Im using the Faces modification version so maybe is because of that. Btw, good job Edit: Forget about that it was just that i forgot to activate one mod :/

So Houses Drace, Saerys, Saerynar and Saerystos sigils/coats are not showing but instead some random ones. Besides sometimes house Drace doesn't have the oblivion valyrian sword artifact, only the trait

And for House Drace not having The valyrian sword was a problem with reformation so i just deactivated

Why did you put instructions to delete CK2 and AGOT gfx folders? I thought it was weird, followed your instructions, and the game crashed.
Restored the files, and everything works fine for the mods.
Is there something I'm not understanding?

I know why bastards don't inherit their fathers' bloodlines. Bloodlines are cuted off by the birth event. The problem is in ...\AGOT More Bloodlines\common\scripted_effects\00_scripted_effects.txt -> acknowledge_newborn_FROM_effect Specifically in this piece of code: ROOT = { any_owned_bloodline = { remove_bloodline_member = PREVPREV } }
If you delete this fragment, then everything will work as it should.

Is there something I'm not understanding? It's to avoid any errors you might have with portraits being skewed to the right & stuff when you open a new save--something that happens sometimes. You only need to do it once for the 1st time you install, and make sure you go to the correct path--not just the regular gfx folders in your mods. I am referring to the gfx folders you see in your save folder.
If everything works fine for you, don't sweat it, you should be good to skip that part.

I’m new to using mods on CK2 so I’m wondering if the third option includes the faces modification mod with it or if I have to use it with the faces modification separately
