For my personal mini sub-mod I am (among other things) looking into what the pre-requisites and flags are for someone to be called "Lord Paramount" as the kingdom-tier titles under the Iron Throne usually are. I know about the royal privilege bit, and how to make newly conquered kingdoms Lords Paramount as well. I noticed that even works with titular kingdom titles.
Some things I am wondering though, in descending order of interest:
Is it possible for a republic-type realm to be called Lord Paramount? Example: in my test game Aegon defeats Harren as normal, then grants the Riverlands kingdom title to a merchant republic. The holder of the title is named the base "Archon", and I would like to change that to the usual Lord Paramount.
Possibly related to the above, should a Lord Paramount reform a religion and go for temporal leadership, they will henceforth be called High Priest instead, despite the religious head title being duke-tier. This is vanilla CK2 behaviour, like the Abbasid emperor of Arabia, who is called caliph in conversation. Is this moddable to give preference to the Lord Paramount nomenclature?
Do the titles absolutely need to be kingdom-tier to become Lord Paramount, or is it possible to mod it to be available for duke-tier?
Someone very likely has more knowledge on this and I would appreciate the input.
