The game was working fine, i'm about 15 years in and suddenly it's starting to crash a lot. At first, it would crash after 30 mins, then the time increments kept lowering and lowering. Now I cant even open my save file because it crashes. Before that, at the beginning it would say that the checksum is not accurate and that 2.1 version of the mod is compatible with the 3.2 version of ck2 but i can't revert to that version because its 32 bit. Idk what is wrong and I was having os much fun I am not sure how to upload a save file, so if someone can link me to do that I will happily post the file. Thanks! (BTW the checksum says NRFT for the mod)

Bump.
Having the same issue: consistent crashing and a checksum error message asking me to roll back to ver3.2 of CKII (but I can't as my Mac runs Catalina -- making 32-bit a no-go).
Has anyone encountered this issue and managed to solve it? I'm stumped (tried some of the fixes suggested in other threads, such as the neg_money fix).

2.1 is compatible with CK2 3.3. The version warning probably hasn't been updated to say that, judging from the multiple people mentioning it. Also, if you use any submods or have edited any files, that will change the checksum. As for one suggestion, if you haven't already, try a clean (and I mean clean; uninstall and delete everything pertaining to the mod)reinstall of the mod. Another is, if you are using the Steam version is to use the installer or zipped files version instead. The last one, if you're playing with German language, is to change the language to English. A person on these boards found out the German language was what was crashing his/her game.
