I've tried using the non-Valyrian version, but even though there are trade routes in Westeros, there aren't any buildable trade posts? Then if I use the Valyrian one, the game crashes on me. Is there any way to get around this? Tradeposts are buildable only on select spots on the routes, not everywhere. You can only use the Valyrian one if you also use a pre-Doom sub-mod with Valyrian provinces, or my mod that adds the provinces as ruins to the game. Otherwise the game will not know where these provinces are supposed to be.

The dropbox for the valyrian one doesn't work. Also, by uncommenting the blocks '##Roads to Valyria' if I am using one of the pre-Doom submods, that means I delete everything under the hashtag right?

It's not yet updated for AGOT 1.7.

I wasn't sure if it would need it or not. Guess I might as well wait til you update it to start a game

It's not yet updated for AGOT 1.7. I meant the dropbox itself doesn't work. I opened it earlier and it said the link was not found, but now for some odd reason its fixed, so thanks Edit: If we are using the Valyrian version, do we have to use it along with the non-Valyrian one or will it work by itself?

I refreshed the link just in case. And no, the Valyrian version would be used instead of the vanilla one. Trade routes are basically a list of provinces, so you need the Valyrian provinces actually in game for it to work -- otherwise the game will crash. So I've made a version with and without the Valyria provinces in place. 1.7 made some map changes so I need to go over this mod and make sure it's still compatible. I haven't actually played the AGOT mod since beta though.

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like the only relevant changes are the swapping of Woodmere and Wendwater, and the scripted_triggers file.

Is there any way that the mod is compatible with congenital?

I tried it, only problem I see is that it changes the fix for King's Landing in the Andal Invasion scenario (it was renamed Blackwater bay and reduced to a single keep in the 1.8 update). Might not be a way around it, just letting you know.

I tried it too, might be something to do with something else or just me misunderstanding something but it seems some merchant republic built trade posts in provinces before the owner had a chance to do so themselves. Just saw it in one place as far as I recall. Might be a problem with not blocking MR from building in a province where the trade route lets the owner builds a trade post or it's just me being confused about something.

Nah, that's always been a thing, in vanilla CK2 as well. That's what the embargo CB is for, clearing out tradeposts so you can build your own. They can only do it in coastal ones though.

Does this unbalance the game at all? Cause I imagine rulers with trade posts are going to be far wealthier than those without.

It gives an advantage to trade route owners, but you can't build a trade post on every location on the roads and they are mostly spread out so it should balance. Trade routes do not provide as much income as they do in the base CK2 game.
