Hello, As stated in the title, for the last few days my playthrough start crashing randomly. I'll then restart the game and reload, sometimes a few more months/years will tick before it crashes again, so it seems I can't recreate the same conditions everytime. At first I thought it was only one save corrupted, but it keeps happening even in newer ones. I'm on version 3.3 and the checksum is NFNH. I'm not using any submods either. Here the save from my last playthrough. I tried looking around to find anyone with a similar problem but could not find such thread, so hopefully I'm not being too much of a bother to you guys. Thanks in advance for your time and help, Cheers.

Could be the negative_money issue. Check out my post in this thread.

Hi, Thanks for your answer. I tried doing what you advised, and indeed there were #'s that I removed. I then copy pasted this : Started a new game and it crashed again after a few years. Following the change the checksum also changed to OPHA. Here is the link to my latest save.

I haven't tried your save yet, but I immediately noticed the save is bloated, larger size than it should be. Most of my saves from my playthrough on AGOT 2.0 were around 15MB in size. The latest save I got from you is almost 33MB, more than twice the size.
Edit: I just started up your autosave, set the game to observe mode, and then ran the game for 5 years with no crash. I also did a normal save and the save game size was 6.6MB, so I don't know what's wrong. Are you using the Steam version of AGOT?

No, I use the one I downloaded from this very website.
As for the size, I'm not sure. The "compress game data" is ticked ingame when I manually save, and as for the autosave it is unticked in the game options. I'll try running it again with my character, then on observe mode, to see if it happens aswell or not.
Worst case I might aswell delete both the game and the mod to do a clean re install.
Edit : I've been running the save for a few years as the same character and it hasn't crashed (yet) despite not changing anything at all. I'll keep you updated if anything new comes up.

as for the autosave it is unticked in the game options. That would explain the larger save size.

I am experiencing something similar, even with this negative money money fix. Any more ideas on what may cause that?

I am experiencing something similar, even with this negative money money fix. Any more ideas on what may cause that? CK2 3.3, 2.1 AGOT, and no submods? Also, Steam, installer, or zipped files for AGOT?

Also, Steam, installer, or zipped files for AGOT? Yeah, at first I thought that it was my submod's fault but it crashes even without it. Also for some bizzare reason zipped version was, also, crahing on hiting play button (I am using instaler version right now).
