Confess to escape Oubliette

So in the mod you can torture people to elicit a false confession, but perhaps there should be an event that may fire if someone is kept in the oubliette long enough in which they choose to confess their guilt in the hopes that their captor will show mercy in one form or another? Might take a while, like on average 10 or more years in confinement before someone is desperate enough to do this. However is that not traditionally one of the intended functions of the darkest and most miserable cells in the castle dungeon?
