my fantasy map. I haven’t finished it. completely made in photoshop Nice work!! I've made many a fantasy map myself for homebrew D&D campaign settings in my day, so I can say from my experience, that few things are as rewarding as seeing a fantasy world from your mind come to life in the trees, rivers, lakes, oceans, and mountain ranges when put to paper! I don't know how new you are to worldbuilding but we tend to migrate towards each other and when that happens TONS of resources are accumulated. I've designed maps from the plate tectonics up and couldn't have done it all those years ago if I hadn't found the resource explaining how it all works and how it applies to map making. I'll link a few websites for you to check out that will no doubt be an interesting look-through at the very least :) www.cartographersguild.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30&s=befc1fd55471c8672421052b50d09d5b This one is the "Cartographer's Guild" website and offers up a load of links, resources, and guides docs.google.com/document/d/1TKoyrApuKeynNIh_hYUPXMXgFUaS3LJ3USLS0s9HrB0/editAnd here is the /r/Worldbuilding Resources Guide google document in which you'll find more helpful stuff! Anyways, keep imagining, keep creating, and keep having fun ;)
