I can't imagine it'd be too difficult to add any nickname to this list then edit the localization file now that I think about it. Structuring the nicknames to be awarded based on a character trait would require a bit more work I think, and would look something like this > nick_the_gallant = { >allow = { >>age = 16 >>trait = honorable >>OR = { >>>trait = knight >>>trait = trained_warrior >>>trait = skilled_warrior >>>trait = master_warrior >>} >} >chance = { >>factor = 2 >} } ^ that's just the first example I found in the base game though. Idk how much you know about modding but id recommend giving it a go cause its a lot of fun. If you DO start messing with the files always backup your unaltered game beforehand...I do all my mod work in a second install of the game, in a folder named "I'M GONNA GET REKT" cause I usually do...lol) |

Kai Thanks very much! Admittedly I know very little about modding (hence my assumption that nicknames might be assigned on the basis of traits). Generally, all I do is tweak a few traits to my liking. I'll have to give it a go (taking your advice about the folder for screw-ups!) A few other ideas: -- the Gullible -- the Mistrustful -- the Stumbler (drunkard) -- the Red-Nosed (drunkard) -- the Merry / the Merry-Maker -- the Winsome (attractuve characters) -- the Seer / the Far-Sighted -- the Wit-Tickler -- the Prickly Lion/Wolf/Fish (etc. depending on House).

Thanks so much for creating this mod. I've been trying to mod nicknames myself (my first attempt at modding) but I don't think I'm getting the localisation right as the names keep appearing in-game with the underscores I've used in the localisation. For example the name appears in-game as "nick_the_little_dagger".
1) I have it written in the nicknames text file as:
nick_the_little_dagger = {
