What if it would be possible to give your dragon-less heir your dragon in case you are - of advanced age - infirm - blind - dying (under a certain health minimum) - other health related factors There could of course be the chance that the dragon won't have it, injuries etc just like during normal taming. Just an idea I just had, no clue if it's even possible.

We learn something new every day. When a dragon rider dies the dragon passes on to their heir and he can attempt to tame the dragon. Just like in the novels a dragon that has been tamed before is much easier to tame in the mod as well.

Yeah and it's only cute to give the heir an egg, untill you actually die and you uberstrong dragon roams.
