This submod provides a decision to change to a Noble Oligarchy government. The decision taker must be of a regular feudal government (not pirate, wildling, nightswatch, kingsguard, etc), hold the New Valyria title, and be Valyrian. The submod also contains a decision to take control of the "capital" of New Valyria as well (Old Volantis or Valyria for the Colonize Valyria Edition). Also, Aegon the Conqueror is not able to use this as he has his own events.
Compatible with: AGOT 2.0/2.1/2.2

I was wondering if you would be able to impose the oligarchy government on the high lord and king rank vassals. I noticed if i ever lost the election i would lose the ability to have cities as well

The Valyria version. Thank you so much man, and no Rush appreciate the reply. I just took some time to write something up for you. Try this:
On taking the decision, any vassal who is a Duke or higher, is not a patrician, a republic, or is nomadic should switch to noble oligarchy. I also created an event which should trigger on a new title holder for New Valyria with similar conditions.

Don’t know why but when I activate this mod it makes all the landed flags black throughout the game.

It doesn't even actively affect a game until one of the decisions have been taken. Are you by chance using Colonize Valyria? |

Mmm if i wanted to use this without holding Valyria, would all i need to do is remove the requirement to Hold the title of Valyria? i'm interested in playing as Noble Oligarchy Valyrian in Westeros as i don't have Essos enabled. i don't know if it's possible as every time i tried switching to Oligarchy government by force it switched me back to Feudal no matter the culture.

i am using colonize valyria.
What versions of CK2, AGOT, and Colonize Valyria are you using? Also, have you tried deleting the gfx folder found in your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II directory and then starting the game back up? |
