In the lore, House Darklyn provided seven members of the Kingsguard, more than any other individual house, including one of the founding members, Ser Robin "Darkrobin". House Darklyn is proud of this. So proud in fact, that it is referenced in their coat of arms,
^ that's not the precise one used in the mod but the only difference between the two is that in the mod the three shields on the left are somewhat lower and the color scheme of the lozenge (fancy thing on the right) is flipped
so anyways. I have no idea of any kind of modding so I have no clue if it is feasible for this to happen or not but it would be a nice detail.
In the first start date, House Darklyn has their coat of arms depicted with their seven white shields, despite the fact that it is however many (14 I think?) years before the founding of the Kingsguard. And even then, I can't imagine they would add it simply from the get-go once it was founded, they may have started once they hit, say, three members.
I have no idea how you might be able to determine when or how the Darklyns reach their number of Kingsguard so their CoA switches respectively so if that isn't possible maybe there is a way to do it simply based on the starting date? not as accurate but if the Kingsguard is never founded...
This is pretty nitpicky, I know, but I've played as the Darklyns a few times and I can imagine I will again sometime so it would be really cool to see that, you know?
Anyways, it's just something I noticed. I don't know if they would have added the red field specifically for the shields or if it was there before but I imagine they added it for them.
