emperor a user here as made a submod for YI TI in which i think the his provinces, duchies and kingdoms should be used to replace the current shape of YI TI. YI TI is very much barebones most of the kingdoms are either 2 or 1 duchies and provinces are massive and should be broken up into smaller provinces. Emperor submod break these massive provinces into smaller ones and these creates new duchies. From lore we can assume Yi Ti is advanced nation so would be 'tall' in development so smaller provinces with more things in them gives better representation of this to show its a populated kingdom. Also gameplay wise its better simply there more Yi Ti characters and importance, as emperor you realistically have 5 or 6 kingdom vassals who will never very stabile due to only 2 or 1 duchy kingdoms, and 1 duchy vassal. The submod redesign gives more rulers allowing for better representation as Yi Ti has many actual rulers. Also more better marriages current Yi Ti means there only a handful of families to marry in and out of.

thing is, they are all non-cannon and would swallow up my CPU speed. So I'd prefer them to leave it as it is.

I agree with antonii. How many are actually playing with anything besides Westeros, Valyrians or Free Cities (or maybe the hordes, if you are lucky) and some are already complaining about the sluggishness enough to not warrant trade routes to Westeros.
Also basically anything east of Slaver's Bay is non-canon besides of rumors about such places existing, as even GRRM explains differences in TV-map, the original drawings and later "official maps" as errors/contradictions in the maps of the Citadel as they have been drawn based on rumors or unreliable sources...
Naturally submods are a great thing for this kind of things, as they can be used by any player to add some aspects they hold valuable...

Are the lands past Slaver's Bay -that- unknown? Yitish and Hyrkoonians likely send traders to Vaes Dothrak and Qarth. Qarth is literally in front of the Isle of Faros. The Lorathi trade with the Ibbenese and the Westerosi.
There might well be reasonably accurate maps and charts for the benefit of caravaneers, military commanders and merchant shipmen.
