Shouldn't Satnnis start at war only with the Bolton and young gryff, and then have an automatic war with the Throne if he get the North (a bit like the Younf Gryff start) ?
I mean, the war mechanics make that Tommen almost immediatly storm all Stormlander's castles in the south and have very high warscore withhout fighting at all, of course winning is still possible if your quick, but this really does not make that much sense to automatically surrender because some sept in the rainwood was taken.
Besides in the story, the Crown doesn't really focus on Stannis or Storm's end at all, and considering the very slow rythm of Stannis's campaign i think this would be a better representation of the situation in ADWD.
(also, is there a way that Davos doesn't become a young Gryff vassal if he win the Stormland ?)

Would that not be against what happens in Feast in the Iron Throne attacking Dragonstone?

Would that not be against what happens in Feast in the Iron Throne attacking Dragonstone? Perhaps make the war Tommen is fighting just pressing a claim to dragonstone so once dragonstone is conquered he ignores Stannis?

I think it would just be easier to give Dragonstone to Tommen from the start so Stannis' war can be separate until he wins the North.

Another point: that would avoid Stannis IA to go immediatly kill himslef in the south playing as John Snow or any Stannis supporter
And for Dragonstone, while in the books the siege happen "off screen" and is quite dubious, you could just give it to Tommen as it serve for almost nothing in the war anyway

IMO Tommen should hold Dragonstone, Stormlands should either already be under Young Griff or under the Castellan and on verge of losing. Meanwhile Stannis' war in the North is separate, he gets a titular King in the Narrow Sea title similar to the one Dany gets in ACOK. If he wins, he gets the North as an empire-level title, and if Rickon has been found or Jon bent the knee, they get Winterfell. Stannis is given the Dreadfort to rule the North from, or still the Nightfort, but I figure why not the Dreadfort, it'd be empty if you execute the Boltons. Then there's no immediate war for the Iron Throne, because its mentioned even if Stannis does rally the North, he'd have a hard time marching South during winter, especially with the White Walkers coming. You get an event, to either declare war on Tommen for the Throne, or declare war on the White Walkers, or you can just take your time to prepare.
At the same time, Tommen or Griff if he's taken the Iron Throne, gets the option of either declaring war on you, which would be a 50% chance of them doing so, or preparing yourself for the future war, or even acknowledging the White Walker threat and joining Stannis/Jon's War on the Dawn.
