The mod has been updated again! Thanks to erbkaiser for the edits ( Changes to the nicknames, fix for thin & thick scales traits and fixed the dragon skulls not being heirlooms - Bug from the main mod itself) Traits and Portraits Version (V5): Compatible with (2.0 - Current Version) www.mediafire.com/file/psc4xmh624infx8/AGOT_-_Dragon_Portraits_V5.rar/fileIf you have any problems, make sure to leave a comment here!

The version with traits keep messing up my game. When I load it, many traits of human characters change to bizarre disease traits.
The other mods I use are: Bigger Interface Font overhaul Trait softcap exterminated (no use making a God Empress if she can't be immortal and have crazy stats)

You can never add a mod that adds trait to a running game, or remove one from it. An unfortunate side-effect with how the game saves traits.

A game already started, when you add a trait mod you should start a new game, because of how the savegame file works the traits get screwed in the characters.

A game already started, when you add a trait mod you should start a new game, because of how the savegame file works the traits get screwed in the characters. I thought you could add new traits, but in the last file Yeah, when you get to know how the save system of CK2 it becomes kind of obvious that probrably any mod that add traits will need you to start a new game. If you are interested to know more: So, the game saves all character traits as numbers, not as trait names like with Bran for example.: 8059= { bn="Brandon" hist=yes pi=yes b_d="8291.1.1" fat=59 mot=1059 att={4 1 0 1 3} tr={626 420 410 90 85 370 332 } rel="old_gods" g_cul="Tully_dyn" dnt=59 dna="dagig0afcb0" prp="gs0ebkbebcb" fer=0.500 health=5.000 claim= { title=e_north pressed=yes } title="title_prince" emp=2059 host=2059 flags= { robb_stark_sibling=8299.2.11 } saved_event_target= { name="direwolf_name" char=999012229 } society=9 forced_portrait=yes } When you add new traits the save file trait numbers probrably will not match the new correspondence of traits with numbers. For example if the trait "Strong" before addition number is "5" but with the addition becomes "8", you will get the trait that is now "5" in its place. Hope it helps

Why doesn't game just add next numbers to the traits like 156, 157.....?

Why doesn't game just add next numbers to the traits like 156, 157.....? I don't know really, and the file you mentioned early make me think that maybe is a way to make like that. Never went after something like this because personally i enjoy starting a new game when getting new traits. Speaking of that, the new traits for dragons this mod adds are really cool, amazing work tunedie!

Why doesn't game just add next numbers to the traits like 156, 157.....? It actually does, but it numbers traits by load order every time it starts. So unless you make sure the added traits are loaded last, they will get numbers that had already been assigned to other traits and mess up every single trait with their number or higher.

sorry i didn't know where else to put this, but is there a way to make a dragon rider travel anywhere they want? logically speaking a large dragon should for example be able to fly from mainland westeros to the iron islands or dragonstone or the the other side of the narrow sea without the need for ships. maybe the size of dragon could determine the distance and speed it could travel, but like in-lore jaehaerys and alysanne flew to the wall (i assume alone), im sure silverwing and vermithor could fly to volantis or valyria. would this be possible?
thanks in advance
