In my current game the previous Kastaryen Archon died in a trial by combat, after his death a Meerenese/Ghiscari character got elected as the next Archon/Emperor. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but this also happened in another game of mine. Shouldn't there be some sort of system similar to Volantis where only certain characters can be elected, in this case being Valyrians? As a pure-blooded Valyrian the last thing I want is to be ruled over by someone my people subjected hundreds or thousands of years ago! That's all and thank you for making this wonderful mod!

I have a different problem, I somehow got elected to Archon of Valyria and the Free cities stopped being my tributaries, "Because the archon something Kastaryen died, Pentos/Lorath/etc is now independent.

Seems like the entire event is buggy atm. At one point the Archon served his term and his brother who was the Archon (king) of Yunkai was elected. Turned the entire freehold feudal upon succession and the new Emperor did not inherit the kingdom, duchy nor city of Valyria. No further elections were held until this Emperor died
