Can I reduce the time before I can send them on a mission again? I believe if you change, in the on_actions folder, on_decade_pulse to on_bi-yearly_pulse or on_yearly_pulse it will allow you to send someone on a quest every two years or every year, respectively. You can also go into kotst_events.txt and change the kingsguard_personality flag to a lower number of years if you want them to do quests more than the general once per lifetime type of thing. |

Kingsguard members will come to your rescue in battles or possibly take your place in duels when those events fire during a battle. That is part of the main AGOT mod. They also help prevent assassinations. As for using them as commanders, that's only possible if you play as the Commander of the Kingsguard. |

No traits with the mod, but there should be character modifiers from events. The decision for the book and to send knights on quests are targeted decisions (right-click on character portrait) with the Commander of the Kingsguard and the members of the Kingsguard. First, is it installed properly (extracted submod folder and .mod file from the .rar archive into your /mod directory) and then checked to load in the launcher? |

Not sure if this is just a me issue -- having never used dropbox before -- but when I install this, I only get the blank AGOT Knights of the Sword Tower.rar, and no folder accompanying it. I can see the folder that should come with it on the dropbox page, but when I click download, it only installs the blank white .rar folder.
This mod is exactly the kind of flavor that I need to really enjoy CK2's AGOT. Really craving an Aegon the Conqueror into Targaryen sims playthrough, but it feels so lacklustre without a proper Kingsguard. If it's a me issue, maybe you'll know how to help regardless? Thanks in advance.

I can see the folder that should come with it on the dropbox page, but when I click download, it only installs the blank white .rar folder. Thank you to yourself and Aylighs. For some reason, 7zip just sent the rar file to the mods folder, but either because I'm dumb or didn't compress it first or whatever, it didn't actually unpack it. I just used WinRAR on your suggestion and after sending it to the directory and then extracting it there, it worked. Much appreciated, for both the help and the great mod. |
