just a question, why stricklands moved for the vale? i dont understand because in every other version this house is from the reach, so i do not understand. It's mostly because we have no clue about Stricklands and Reach was already overcrowded.

Between looking forward to playing this and the new season being on, I have the motivation to struggle through my horrendous exams, thanks for that

Honestly to get any of the faiths reformed you'd need the holy sites to get a bump in base moral authority (say 10% when owned). With the way wars work you can't just go proclaiming holy wars to get the authority you need, plus when you try to convert people it just makes them hate you thus less likely to convert. With how steadfast these in universe people are it makes sense for them to hate you for trying to convert them, and like wise would need the moral authority for holding their holy sites increased. Played 7+ hours already and getting no where trying to convert people to the old gods and reform the faith in the CoK bookmark with Robb.

I don't think there's enough space in Westerlands either, we have a bunch of houses there that potentially deserve counties more such as Doggetts or Ruttigers.

Ah fair enough - I wouldn't promote the Ruttigers personally - we only meet one and they are described as landed knights, but the Doggetts would make sense for holding a county with the info from F&B (having given the matter some thought I reckon the Stricklands are actually just the main branch of House Moreland that had a name change after their land "was struck from them" and given to some cousins, but there wouldn't really be a decent way to implement this in the mod, just interesting to think about haha)

About Stricklands i am stout defender of keeping them as dukes so at least two of "Golden Company houses" would be duke-tier. And we really run out of free duchies in Reach and Westerlands. There is still duchy in Rainwood and Trident however. But i chose Vale since it also had utterly unoccupied province of Scorched Vale and it was close to pro-Blackfyre Three Sisters. It was even before updating their CoA so i also took seashells into consideration when i chose coastal area.

Might just be me, but when I start a game in the feast for crows bookmark as Jon Snow, Ayra is apparently married Ramsey Bolton. But Ayra should be in bravos or something at that point and Petyr should offer Sansa to Ramsey? Or is there something in the books that I have completely missed?

That is fake Arya, ie Jeyne Poole, if you look she has no direwolf and the wrong gfx culture, the Sansa marriage is show only (and also complete bollocks......) in the books Littlefinger and the Lannisters passed off a friend of Sansa's as Arya whilst Littlefinger was planning to marry Sansa to Harrold Hardyng a cousin of Robert Arryn and the heir to the Vale

I get it! Thanks for the quick reply mate. quick question. when I start as Jon in the FFC bookmark, to get the north and title of winterfell, do I have to side with Stannis in his war for the throne? Or could I stay at the wall, get killed, come back because of the red priest and then battle ramsey for winterfell, or is that also just a show thing?

Book's not out yet - last we've seen Jon has just been knifed by the other Black Brothers (its generally assumed that his spirit is in Ghost and he'll be brought back by Melisandre burning Shireen), but that is beyond the scope of the mod, there used to be a submod called Winds of Winter that added a scenario for season 7 of the show but its not currently compatible with the mod
