A few people have asked me to compatch Improved Genetics for this lovely mod. I have made a compatch, but I'm not entirely sure it will work perfectly well with AGOT. For example, I have heard that there is a 'strong seed' mechanic in AGOT. I've also heard that different races have different inheritance chances. So I need to deal with these problems and I'm not sure if the mod is one hundred percent compatible atm. However! This should be mostly working. If there are any bugs, they should be minor. And I need someone to test it since I don't have CK2 3.01 installed. www.dropbox.com/s/8vkgfz0p9n8ji5i/ImprovedGeneticsGOTV2.zip?dl=0You may need a new save. Not sure.

there is an event to make the lengi tall, it is in essos_events.txt, there you can also find events about the deformations for the Mantarys, Ibbenese and Brindlemen
also i think the lyseni have a higher chance to be Attractive, but im not sure about it, don't know where the code for it is

Thanks Wurzeldieb!
I just finished version 1. But I will deal with the race specific events later.

Is this patch or regular sub-mod?

Oh, I should have made it clear. This is the improved genetics mod, but I have changed it a bit to make it compatible with AGOT. So this version is a submod. You don't need improved genetics vanilla to run this one.

By the way, if you have been using this mod, you can help me a lot by running this script. steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/1706741706/3022387599803752630/And then giving me the information in it! It basically checks your save files for how frequent a certain trait is. That is the main way I find bugs and adjust numbers, but since I don't play AGOT it is quite difficult to get enough data.

Gotcha, so i just have to throw that in my AGOT save folder and once the the game Autosaves, provide you with the copy of Autosave file? (Though i don't have a proper lenghty run atm to try it on,waiting for few Submods to update and then gotta do one) Edit : I do have 200 or so years on older version of your mod in my old save, but it's compressed Save file which i have backed up and loading it will probably break the save won't it?

Its work with the update ? It should and so far from what i've seen it does, considering it worked with 1.9 and 1.9.1 doesn't change all that much.

Lord Gardener, as long as the traits file in AGOT doesnt significantly change, IG will be compatible.
Nervosi, yeah just use it when you have a game that is 25+ years in. And it cant be compressed.

Hey, loved this mod for vanila and HiP! I downloaded this version and took a look through the files and found that you still haven't solved the inheritance differences between certain ethnic groups. As of right now I think I'll stick to the default, hopefully you or somebody else comes up with an elegant solution.

I can add something like that as soon as someone provides me with a list of inheritance differences that would suit the world of ASOIAF. I don't really want to go digging through the lore for that stuff.
