The giant trait from the AGOT is a different species, white walkers or children of the forest.... mmmmm they are generally an offmap civilisation with it's own opinion modifiers.
giant= { customizer = no cannot_marry = yes opposites = { wildling } # Counteract wildling general malus opposite_opinion = 100 general_opinion = -40 same_opinion = 40 }

Well considering it has been requested by a few people, I would not mind making a compatch. However, I still am not aware of the existing gene systems in AGOT, and I don't want to make the mod without knowledge of that (like the strong seed mechanic.)
However, even after having asked several people I received no reply :/ So Idk at this point.
Regardless, making Improved Genetics perfectly compatible with AGOT will involve more than just renaming the giant trait.

Ah, well, i don't quite know how the Strong Seed works either tbh or i'd help, but i think all Strong Seed affects is Portraits, it doesn't affect Trait genes. Only thing that i see directly affecting Genes is Bloodlines (Well, more Bloodlines Submod to be more precise, it adds specific Congenital traits for Houses, Like Umbers and Crakehalls get Giant (tall) and Strong for example) Plus, even if it won't be perfectly compatible, even the minor thing like Characters not getting Giant trait would be HUGE lol.

Yeah. I suppose I tend to be a bit too perfectionist. I'm a bit wary because when I tried to mod CK2+ everyone started getting 'infertile' and complaining to me. And I had no idea why that was happening. So since then I generally try to discuss with devs of overhauls before making a compatch. But anyway, Improved Genetics for AGOT will be up tomorrow. So yall can enjoy a run with the mod on after the new episode releases

I remember the strong seed submod, before it was integrated into the main mod, also giving certain houses percent chances of getting the strong and/or giant trait; two of which I remember are House Mormont and House Umber. Whether this part of the submod was integrated into the main mod, along with the character appearances, I am uncertain. The 1.8 AGOT patch notes says elements of the strong seed submod were integrated into the main mod. I couldn't say if the genetic trait chance part is one of those elements.

Well, it's linked to Bloodline now instead of being a trait. (Or maybe it's also an invisible trait, but the Bloodline says "Has Strong Seed" or "Has Fairly Strong Steed" "Has Very Strong Seed" etc.) on the appearance part, only Tullys,Reynes,Hoares,Greyjoys,Baratheons,Arryns,Lannisters,Tyrells and Starks get their own Graphical Culture.

I think I've been quite thorough. But alas! I don't have 3.01 installed, so I did not test it myself. I'm quite sure this will work fine, but it might require a new save. Maybe

Perfect! I'm pretty sure it's ganna be much better than the current version I'm playing with lol. And I was planning on starting a new game anyways.thanks for taking your time to do this Edit : Okay so the only thing i've noticed so far is that Comp patch for Duelist/hunter isn't working but that was expected, otherwise everything seems to be going fine. (Trait icons are so much more beaitful though, the edges with last version made my heart ache hehe)
