I was playing through as a Stark and managed to land myself a dragon through no small amount of luck. I quickly died (of course) but my heir managed to tame the beast too.
I wondered if it was possible to create a custom bloodline that persists through death single-character death so if you get X number of dragon-riders in your Dynasty, you'll create a bloodline that increases the chances of taming, hatching etc... Basically you try to create a dragon-riding bloodline with character X. Character X dies, but the attempt carries on to Character Y, Z and so forth until you achieve the number of dragon-riders in your Dynasty for you to create a bloodline.

What do you mean, like 5 characters of your dynasty tame dragons and then you generate a bloodline with dragon bonuses?

5 or 10, or something in-between seems reasonable. And the "generate a bloodline" attempt persists through death while forging the bloodline.

Ok but its not really an attempt that persists through death is what I mean, in that the first to tame the dragon would not be able to generate the bloodline under any circumstances whereas the 5th to train a dragon would automatically generate the bloodline - I guess what I'm saying is it isn't actually a forged bloodline, its a created bloodline. But coding it should be easy enough - I can just copy the code that generates a traditional claims bloodline when you hold a kingdom for 7 generations and adjust it appropriately, any views on what effects it should have beyond just dragon taming and dragon hatching?

Prestige and valyrian opinion would make sense(Since your effectively a "Dragonlord" bloodline).

Honestly, I hadn't thought it through all that much. Both ought to be, at least in my opinion, 3/4 the dragon taming/ hatching bonus or, perhaps, 1/2 that which the Targaryen's get. 3/4 I deem a better option due to the dynasty's would-be experience, and to make it likely even if a dynasty member has awful traits. And, as soulbourne says "Prestige and valyrian opinion" but only minor.
