I first want to say I love the new submods they are awesome. After messing around in the submods as the freehold I have several suggestions. From what I believe unless I’m wrong the Dragonlords that are merchant republics are suppose to be the main families of the freehold while the feudal ones are the lower families. I think it would be really cool if you could make it so it is possible for your house to switch from feudal to merchant republic whether through a plot we’re u weaken one of the current main families of Valyria that is currently a merchant republic and switching that family to a feudal government or a decision you can make after you conquer that one of the merchant families land or your realm size gets to a certain size or some other requirement. I’m not sure if there is a hard cap on the number of families allowed in a merchant republic but I’m assuming there is so this could be one way to make it more dynamic. Another thing is I would really like the Targaryen house to be a merchant republic currently the heir of the archon of Valyria is one of the people that can be elected to be archon even though he has no land I would really like to raise the Targaryens to be the leaders of the freehold through elections instead of just conquest. I realize they were one of the weaker families of the freehold but I don’t believe there is any way to really switch to a merchant republic currently. My last suggestion is from starting several games it seems like the land is distributed kind of randomly between the dragon lord and of the freehold each game. However it seems like the the head dragonlord families which are the merchant republics usually end up with less land and lower titles then some of the feudal dragon lords. And since I am assuming that they are suppose to be the head families of the freehold it seems like they should have the highest titles. If none of that is possible maybe they should have there own form of government instead of having to split the dragon lords between feudal and merchant republic we’re all families can own both castle and city holding maybe a form of Imperial government a specific government special to Valyria and have it be elective succession for the title of emperor. One last suggestion is a form of Kingsguard specific to Valyria.
