Currently there are several ruined provinces and a handful of greyed out provinces in sothoryos. I was thinking it might be a fun idea to make it so that the greyed out provinces are held by an uplaybable and uninteractable (other than wars, like the white walkers) faction of painted lizards, which is mentioned in the lore. The ruins would remain ruins and would be uncolonisable by the lizards, but if you colonised a sothoryi ruin the lizards get a claim on the province, encouraging them to launch invasions against you to turn the province back into a ruin - I know that the brindled men can invade, but (at least the impression I get is) it seems that the lizards have something of a civilisation of their own, whereas the the brindlemen are fairly loosely organised tribes, so having the lizards represented by actual provinces which you could fight wars over rather than just repelling guerilla invasions might be quite fun. It wouldn't be too hard to just use a velociraptor or argonian picture to represent the lizards portrait wise and mostly the code from the white walkers could just be reused

They're supposed to be brightly coloured velociraptors that live and hunt in the wild jungles, not an advanced civilisation of lizard people.
