This is a suggestion to add the slave tattoos that the Volantis slaves have on their face to mark their rank and purpose as a slave which would make playing Volantis and the slave system a lot more interesting and colorful.(maybe even add different slave groups who get different face tattoos based on what they do,but thats for another thread...)
Examples:
1.Flames across the cheeks, chin and forehead for the priests of the faith of R'hllor. (Moqorro and Bennero have these tattoos)
2.Flames across the cheeks for members of the Fiery Hand. (The Fiery Hand is a group of slave soldiers employed as guards for the red temple of R'hllor in the Free City of Volantis,there are always 1000 of them and all are slaves to R'hllor)
3.Squares of motley, from neck to scalp for fools and jesters. (pathface has this tattoo thats where his name comes from)
4.Tattoo of a demon's mask on one of the cheeks for dangerous and disobedient slaves. (Personally my favorite its the one Jorah gets in DoD it could also be used for slaves who try to escape but are captured again or simply for tough aggressive slaves)
5.A wheel tattooed upon one cheek for a driver of an hathay.(A hathay being a type of cart known to be used in Volantis)
6.Flies on the cheeks for slaves collecting elephant and horse dung. (Enough said)
7.A cog's figurehead upon one cheek for slaves bound to a ship.(Maybe even an event where if the ruler is Elephant party and the more ships and/or trade power Volantis has the more slaves of this type are used)--- Also the Selaesori Qhoran's fifty slaves bound to the ship all have this tattoo.
8.Tiger stripes, green as jade, across the cheeks for slave soldiers and also for "Tiger Cloaks" the city guard of Volantis. (Same as above if the ruler is Tiger party and the more armies and/or wars the more of these types of slaves)
9.A single tear beneath the right eye for prostitutes (Sunset girl in DoD has this tattoo,also I think there should be a prostitute trait to go along with this which damages prestige and piety but somewhat increases wealth and seduction)
10. A horsehead on the cheek for slave workers in stables (The more cavalry the more of these types of slaves maybe even add it to some Dothraki slaves)
This next category is for all unspecified tattoos which could be added as random or maybe depending on traits.
11.A mask of blue feathers (maybe for attractive or fashionable slaves)
12.A lightning bolt that ran from jaw to brow (maybe for mad slaves)
13.A coin upon the cheek (maybe greedy or high stewardship slaves.)
14.A leopard's spots (maybe for hunters)
15.A skull (this would be awesome maybe the same as Demons mask)
16.A jug (maybe drunkards or gregarious)
17.Spider tattoos (Webber has these)
18.Chest tattooed with a bird of prey (Cragorn one of Eurons men has one of these also appears to be magical maybe we could put this one on the neck for mysterious slaves)
19.Shadow Men tattoos (shadow men are known to cover their bodies in tattoos but seeing as they also cover their faces and we dont know what kind of tattoos I leave this one to the devs)
Also Ex-slaves sometimes remove their tattoos. Scar tissue covers the cheeks of the widow of the waterfront, from where she had the slave tattoos cut off upon being freed.Ser Marq Mandrake has a hole in one cheek where a slaver's mark had been burned away.(This could be represented as a decision if you have a tattoo and want to get rid of it you can burn it and get burned trait or something like that).
