Dont know if this is the right place to ask this but i seem to be getting a few problems with the submods like the lack of any Arryns in the Valyrian Freehold Submod or the misplacement of some countys in the stormlands in both VF and CB submods

The official submods are still compatible with 1.7.1 with no changes.

Can the 1.7.1 version of the mods be used with the 2.8.1 version of CK 2?
Since I can't find the previous 1.6.1 of these mods I was hoping these would work still...

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting spammed with the Yi Ti gets conquered by the White Walkers event?
P.S. This is with the Westeros Only submod.

How do I install the sub-mods once I've downloaded them? I've tried just about everything I can think of, but when I open up the launcher none of them appear under the mods tab.

When I play the submod and create the Duchy/Kingdom/Empire of Valyria as Aurion Varezys during the Century of Blood and Valyrian Freehold submods, the flag of Valyria is a crowned white skull on a pink/blue striped background... I think my flags are busted. But none of the other ones seem to be? Just this one! (Yes, I have the legitimate game, I do not condone piracy. I've been playing CK2 since 2012, legit. This is the first time my flags have ever been busted.) I've tried everything I possibly can to fix this, even replacing the .gfx files with the traditional flag of the county of Valyria (which doesn't change), to disabling dynamic CoA. None of the other flags are busted, from what I can tell! Any ideas, folks? I'm fresh out. imgur.com/a/qVjYbxZ The skull in question. A cool icon for pirates or something, not so much for the Emperor of Valyria. I'd even just like to use the Varezys Coat of Arms as a flag, even. Anything but this.

I think I figured out my issue. The game didn't like me using both the Century of Blood and Valyrian Freehold bookmarks together, for some reason. I disabled the Century of Blood mod, and now it works fine. Shame Valyria is already so built up in the Valyrian Freehold bookmarks, I like forging those empires. Oh well! Still great, to play Valyria.

You can only have one of the bookmark submods active at a time.

Yep, I figured that one out myself! I appreciate the heads up, though. Now for another question. I'm playing the Freehold of Valyria and I'm elected out every 5 years - way before the 15 it takes to turn the Freehold into the Empire I dream of. How do I maintain control of the Freehold long enough to turn it into an Empire?
Do I have to look for code to modify, to turn it into 5 years? Or do I have to stay at war for the 10 whole years to postpone the elections before I can do it? Because it seems like the instant the war ends, it would cue up the elections and I'd get ousted, and reset the timer. I want my Valyrian Empire, dammit.
