Is there any plan to add the three islands she discovered ... or the possibility of a related event??

If you look in the bottom left hand corner of the map past the summer islands there are 3 tiny rocks, which I'd assume are the islands she found, considering that reaching them was next to impossible for current westerosi navigational techniques and no one has since gone back as far as we know this is probably the most logical way to put them in as having them as ruins wouldn't really reflect the sheer difficulty of colonising them

These Islands are neither slightly farther south than the Summer Isles nor are they farther west than Lonely Light. |

I imagine the devs didn't want to have to change the map too much for something that currently (afaik) has no game effect, you're right their position is technically wrong but there isn't a whole lot else they could be, |

In the absence of a canon map source the islands won't be physically added to the map. Events involving them are certainly something that can be implemented in a future update though.
