So my last post disappeared.. I'll post it again
"Yes he should and this +10 bonus will mean nothing compared to superior training and other traits of those two. I meant an AVERAGE man vs an AVERAGE woman without other traits or training. This game has other arbitrary mass stats for children and teenagers so why not to differentiate men and women. It is true that an exceptional woman like Brienne can beat many men but this is an exception. If Littlefinger had twin sister with the same traits and fighting skills he would surely had an advantage over her for having testosterone enhanced male body type. Pure biology". - Tybor87 So Tybor mentioned this in the thread, and he has a good argument. Sadly the thread got locked before I was able to comment it. In the middleages, when dueling was comonplace in Europe. Dueling between the sexes was a rare event. The few historical accounts that depict this is from Germany in the middleages. It says that it was considered such a misbalance that if this took place, there was a set of new rules applied to it. Dueling female vs female would be the same as male vs male. Dueling female vs male on the other hand was not. It was not considered a fair fight. Because if they were to fight on the same terms, the male duelists would almost always prevail. If this was to take place, then the male duelist had to dig a hole to the waist (in which he could not leave), and tie one arm to the body. These duels did take place, though there is not any good statistic analysis on the outcomes, this is described to go either way in terms of loss and victory for each part. Now. I don't really want to go into a debate about the biological differences between the male and the female sex. But saying that this was all because of environment/social structures and not also biology, would be sticking your head in the sand. My reason for keeping this thread alive, is because this would make sense implementing (taken into account). This is firstly in Vanilla CK2, but also in AGOT mod. Please dont hate me for picking up this topic again moderators, I only brought this up because I believe this would make sense in the mod. Suggestions: - -10 or - 20 dueling skill for female characters in the mod. - Activate force training for female characters (I don't se a reason for this not being a option for either sexes?)

I am not sure if whether the ability of a male to overpower a female (all else being equal) was ever under question, the whole thing was probably overlooked in order to avoid agitating all the SJW fans of the tv show.
Either way a -10 combat modifier to all female characters would be a pretty fair and realistic addition in my point. It wouldn't undermine all of the unique woman fighter characters either since thy have OP modifiers to begin with already.
Also regarding training girls in swordfighting. Every time your character decides to take on female wards, he will automatically teach them sword fighting skills, which doesn't make sense unless you're playing as a feminism friendly culture. So wouldn't it make sense to disable the said feature for all female wards, with the exception of the said culture representatives and maybe girls with struggle/military focus education in order to account for girls like Brien? Would be a pretty lore friendly addition in my opinion.

It's true that men are on average stronger than women but I don't see why it is important enough for mod to be implemented. There are a ton of other things that we could add. Also we don't receive anything for working on the mod, so we don't really care what some fans of the show think.

Sorry if my comment offended you mate. I was only sharing my speculations in regards to what the modding team's rationnelle could have been at the time. Moreover, the team's policy of impartiality in regards to political/social affairs and profiteering was never put to question, the whole ck 2 community can be my witness when I say that you have fared exceptionally well when compared to the developers of the game the said mod is based on (especially in the latter department), and have created a truly great mod.
To address your curiosity, the said debate probably stems from the fact that the resent versions on the mod saw the introduction of certain combat modifiers based on age. So it is only natural that people would want to go all the way now since you have already "opened the door " and started implementing different aspects of physiological attributes a person might be affected by.
I mean it always seemed to me that the mod team tried to implement as many realistic features as possible into the setting. So wouldn't the right question be why the said feature shouldn't be implemented?

I like that idea but dev time is probably better spent elsewhere like dragon visit chamber option. Or #DLM

A sense of accomplishment for a female character player that despite being born at disadvantage by nature and in a society ruled mostly by men, she struggled and trained her skills to accomplish something remarkable - to fight with inherently stronger opponents on equal terms and finally best them with cunning and skill. Something like in Karate Kid movie. This could possibly show the reality of female fighters of old times and give them even more esteem. ( I don't know why but when I was writing this I heard Tyrion Lannister voice in my head )

I would need to be really sensitive to be offended by that, heh. This argument seems quite reasonable for me, although I am still not sure if it's important enough to be implemented. There are many things we are working on currently and it would probably be of rather low priority. Anyway, keep in my mind, that I am just one modder, so there are others who might disagree with me.

You're thread didn't disappear, I removed it. As I explained in the message I sent you, this was already answered in Tybor's thread why this won't be implemented and the thread was locked. I'm locking this thread now too. If you create it again, I'm going to start banning.
