I had an idea regarding Dany's dragons that would fix two quasi issues related to them.
Firstly in Fire & Blood we find out that Dany's dragon eggs probably didn't come from Asshai but were Targaryen eggs bartered by Elissa Farman for Sun Chaser (Jahaerys' comment that "Then some spicemonger in Pentos will find himself possessed of three very costly stones" is basically straight up confirmation by GRRM imo).
Secondly Dany's dragon being her children is currently causing them to inherit from her.
If Dany's dragons were removed from being her children to being part of the main Targ family tree it should fix both these issues. I'd probably put them as children of Dreamfyre seeing as we know she laid clutches of eggs and the theft was from Rhaena.
