This topic has almost certainly been broached before but I still can't help but think the prestige = marriage effects (barring religious differences of course) needs to be changed, if possible.
As I understand the Stark's typically looked to their vassals for marriage prospects, likewise for many of the Great Houses, I would imagine. Or not as often as one would expect. The Targaryen's typically chose a Velaryon if there wasn't a brother or sister to go around. Which makes it seem like it is more of a cultural thing than a prestige thing...
Could a "cultural favouritism" modifier somehow be added to rectify this, in addition to ridding us of the prestige = marriage necessity? The "cultural favouritism" modifier wouldn't rid the marriage prospects of the various regional Lords marrying each other, but perhaps decrease the likelihood if there is a 'closer to home' marriage/ betrothal to be had with someone of the same culture?
