Been doing a little thinking about new features, was wondering if there would be an interest in a sort of dynamic Personal Arms type system? Was thinking something fairly simple to start with based on Robb's use of the direwolf head sigil for the main houses. What I was thinking is characters of a particular house with a sufficiently high martial (basically very rare prodigies like Robb) would have access to a decision that made them use a personal sigil that is a more martial version of their traditional house sigil, ie Starks would use the direwolf head like Robb does, Lannisters would use a lion head, Baratheons/Durrandons would use a stag's head, Targs/Blackfyres a single dragon head breathing flame, Arryns would either use a falcon head or perhaps a clawed talon drawing on their ancestor King Oswin "Talon" Arryn, Martells would either use a spear or a red viper I'm unsure, Gardeners maybe the Green Hand closed into a fist, Tyrells the Tyrell rose but with the stem and its thorns, and then the Hoares probably just the single golden longship? The Tullys I’m unsure but maybe a red fish? Would people want to see this? Do people have additional thoughts suggestions? Are there potential versions that could be implemented for ultra high intrigue/stewardship/diplomacy characters? How do you make a golden kraken look MORE threatening lol? I'd be interested in that! It adds more change over time. Like, if your 2nd son lives on a battlefield then his sigil would reflect that. 2nd son then gets landed somewhere, more time passes, and you have an almost separate house out there in the world. Idea for Tully: Make use of the scale aspect of the fish. Example: Silver Scales (the silver scales look like scaled armor) on a red and blue field (classic Tully) parted per fess. I'll add more later as I think about them though ^_^ cant wait for the next update rufff1, hey you also Working for congenital overhaul right?... hope its going well Same! I'm hoping that because Rufff is working on Con-Gen-Overhaul that they can both be released compatible with each other lol. I dont mind compatching though :)

I dont mind compatching though Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking (although the sigil will be non heritable - otherwise the main branch would permanently lose their sigil as soon as one of them adopted it lol) Not hugely sure what you mean on the tully front? as for CO, this is taking a while and I also need to work on MBS 2.0, would be much easier for me if someone else could do the compatch for CO and MBS 1.9

Like making a new branch for the family if the guy is very good in martial (or other like stewardship) and landed. Making them something like "The Starks of [Name of Landed Tile]", in the same style of The Arryns of Gulltown for example.

Oooo I like those! Onto constructive criticism though! The color choices are great! The Arryn sigil really stood out the most to me. The blues work well with each other and really pop out with the silver/white pieces. The Targaryen sigil seems a bit small (which can easily be fixed by just scaling and making some edits), the Tyrell sigil is almost being "drowned" in green which makes the darker greens and gold of the rose stand out less, and the Stark sigil looks too similar to the baseline Stark wolf head. In all though I really like them :) each adds something new and the color choices are spot on! If I have time today I'll take a crack at them for fun!

So the Stark one is the version Marowa did and made available to everyone - it’s the same as the one in Personal Arms and I’m using it for consistency for people who use both. The Targ/Blackfyre ones do look small but you lose a lot around the edges with the frames and I’ve tried them in game and it does take up a decent amount of space on the shield. I agree on the leaves for the Tyrell one so would appreciate if anyone can make it work a bit better, I’m also not entirely sure on the stags head I’ve done for the baratheons which I can send you. I’ve also updated the Hoare sigil to now wreathe the golden longship in an a circular iron chain which I think looks quite nice

So I think I'm broadly happy with the designs for all the major houses martial personal sigils now - here's the previews: imgur.com/a/fFw2pqVI think my favourite is probably the Hoare variant with the way the chain fits the Ironborn shield - see below: imgur.com/a/nAR2Il9If people have any more thoughts, or have ideas for intrigue/stewardship/diplomacy versions please let me know

I did end up tinkering with the Martial sigils a bit on my own. I started on the Tyrell rose and accidentally turned it photo-realistic with shadows and highlights which ... doesn't really fit with medieval-esque heraldry XD It's really difficult to make something look good with 128^2 pixels to work with so props to you and the rest of your team for doing it!

Martial Sigils System is done, and whilst I was doing it I created a system for the second, third and fourth sons (or daughters if you are Dornish) to mark their place in the main succession if they get land with a personal sigil of their own. The personal sigils are inspired by the double rose of Garlan Tyrell, the triple rose of Loras Tyrell, and the quartered dragon of Prince Maekar targaryen. In this vein the sigil is the house animal repeated the appropriate number of times for what number son the character is. The COAs are non hereditary (after all none of Maekar's sons used the quartered dragon) but I think it'll be a fun little piece of immersion - here are some of Cregan Stark's sons showing how it works: imgur.com/a/ic7iNr3Jonnel "One-Eye" as Cregan's second son is able to use the double wolf sigil, I granted Cregan's third son Edric some land so that he could use the tripled wolf sigil, and gave the fourth son Barthogan "Blacksword" one of the new provinces that 2.0 is adding so he could use the quartered wolf sigil. I would note that I have used decisions so that all 3 characters use the personal sigil for status as 2nd, 3rd, and 4th son - these decisions are only available as a player, the AI using these sigils is normally done through an event which is only moderately likely so these sigils will generally be rare rather than every time a second son inherits, but it should add some nice flavour to the game

This is great! I think I'm more hyped for this update than I was for HF.
