Currently the resolutions to the WotFK are rather limited - for Stannis and Joffrey that makes sense, they are fighting over the throne and the rule of Westeros, but for Robb in particular his options upon winning the war make no sense.
Robb doesn't have the ambitious trait so can't seize the throne for himself, so the options are Stannis or "leaving it to the first claimant" which always seems to be the Lannisters (one time I'd killed Tywin in a duel so after I'd executed Joffrey the King on the Iron Throne was Lancel Lannister - which was both hilarious and ridiculous), I'd really like it if there were more options - a great council, legitimising Edric Storm and making him King, fracturing the Seven Kingdoms to give each Kingdom independence, using the opportunity to annex parts of the Westerlands to make the Riverlands and the Crag (which you can annex after marrying Jeyne) more secure, proclaiming Stannis the King and bending the knee in return for concessions that allow the Kings in the North to retain their title like the Princes of Dorne did.
Also after Northern Independence is achieved if Aegon VI shows up there are no options to take part in the following war for the throne - the North may be independent but that doesn't mean it would completely ignore the Golden Company showing up with a new Targaryen - the North (and indeed any independent kingdom if they have chosen to use the megawar to secede) should have the options to join Aegon as an ally in return for an acknowledgement of independence that transfers any other territory you have acquired to your de jure empire if he wins (on one playthrough I had vassalised the Vale after winning Northern Independence whilst Stannis was on the throne and kept having to fight off Aegon when he took the throne because he wanted it back) , the option to support whoever currently has the Iron Throne in exchange for a similar recognition of territorial gains, or to sit it out if you're tired of fighting.
Also it should be easier to form defensive pacts against the Iron Throne if you and other kingdoms have seceded, I've seen games where the Reach, Dorne, the North/Riverlands, and the Iron Isles have all seceded but do nothing as Stannis reconquers them one by one, yes them not uniting to maintain independence should be a possibility but it should also be possible that they realise that they have a common interest in maintaining independence.
